Darcy sighed realizing that her period wasn't late, it just wasn't coming for the next nine months. Now she wasn't against abortions, in fact she was completely for them if that was what the mother wanted. One thing for sure though was that Darcy was keeping this child which meant that she was required to tell the father about the news.

"You're making me go on a bloody journey just to tell your father that you now exist," Darcy mumbled as she grabbed her keys to ask her best friend for the certain America's number.

"To what do I owe the pleasure?" Mason asked as the Scotsman who walked into his house,
"Remember how you set me up with Christian?" Darcy felt awkward asking the man who was like a brother for his teammates number despite having had gone on a date with him.

"Yes, you never actually told me how your date went," he took a bite of his apple as he waited for the young girl to continue,
"That's a story for another time, could I possibly get his number? I'd love to go on a second date with him," Darcy lied knowing that she needed a decent excuse in order for Mason not to ask any questions,
"Wait did you not get it from him?" He felt slightly surprised that the young girl decided that she wanted another date just over five weeks after the first one.
"Yes now please can I get that number," Darcy loved Mason with all her heart but she knew that if she stayed there any longer then she would wind up telling him the actual story.

Darcy paced around her modern house as she thought of the best way to tell Christian what she had learnt earlier on in the day.
So she just decided to call him and prayed that he didn't pick up so she could just leave a voicemail instead.

"Hey it's Christian, I cant answer the phone right now so just leave a message," Darcy sighed in relief as she realized that he indeed hadn't picked up the phone.

"Hey Christian it's Darcy, I hope you do remember me or else that's really awkward. But basically I'm pregnant it's yours and I'm keeping it, but if you don't want to be apart of the child's life that's fine like I'll just tell them that father was just a hookup or something," Darcy waffled as the line then went silent cutting her off from everything she had to get out.

"If he doesn't want to know you then let's hope you never try find him," she sighed knowing that it was fully his choice but that she really did want him to be apart of the kids life as their father.

"Someone's left you a voicemail Christian," Ruben called out as he walked into the kitchen holding Christian's phone.

"Just play it on speaker," Christian mumbled as he was in the process of drying berries in the sink,
"Hey Christian it's Darcy, I hope you do remember me or else that's really awkward. But basically I'm pregnant it's yours and I'm keeping it, but if you don't want to be apart of the child's life that's fine like I'll just tell them that father was just a hookup or something," the line went dead and Ruben all of a sudden wished he hadn't played the message.

"Wait Darcy as in Masons friend Darcy?" Ruben knew that the two had gone out on a date but prayed that the young blonde hadn't just got knocked up by him,
"Yea that Darcy, you don't think he knows right?" Christian wasn't scared of Mason by any means, he just knew that if someone fucked with Darcy he would be the first person to her defense.

"Well what do you want to do about it?" Ruben tried to find a decent way to talk about the baby but knew that it was needed to be spoken about,
"I obviously have to be apart of the child's life, this isn't her fault that we now have a kid," Christian knew that he was raised better than to go get a women pregnant and then just run off to never see the child ever again.

"Are you going to see her?" Ruben had officially taken on the role of the counselor which he appreciated deeply,
"I'll give her a call later and see if we could meet up to see how we are going to deal with whatever this is," he shrugged knowing that it was the best he could do for his future child.
