Seven weeks pregnant

"This kid is doing my absolute head in," Darcy groaned as she clenched her stomach,
"Did you know that they are the size of a blueberry by now," Fran smiled from the other side of her couch clearly not caring about how much pain she was in.

"Francesco I couldn't bloody well care if it was the size of an egg, that thing is just pissing me off," Darcy mumbled as she tried to lightly massage her stomach,
"Do you want me to go and get you some food or something?" He asked knowing that she had absolutely nothing in her fridge and was due to do a food shop anyways,
"No Fran you've literally just arrived here," Darcy turned to him and smiled that her best friend had gotten the quickest flight to her after learning that she was pregnant.

"So how's Christian been?" Fran asked as she rolled her eyes at the mention of her baby daddy,
"I actually haven't spoken to him since that day at the cafe, I don't know why I'm surprised though," Darcy was now slightly crying as the main thing that had been affected over the past week or so was her mood,
"Come on, lets just you ready. We are going out for breakfast and then we are going shopping," Francesco pulled Darcy up and wiped her tears before they walked upstairs to go get her ready.

"You look so good I promise," Fran smiled as Darcy gave him a disapproving look,
"Come on lets just get this over with," Darcy didn't usually go out some a little baby wasn't helping getting her out of the house more,
"There's a car outside," Fran has wide eyes wondering who on earth could possibly want to see Darcy,
"Oh that's probably Mason," Darcy hadn't seen her best friend in over a week which really wasn't normal for either of them.

"Hey Mas- oh Christian," she opened up the front door and all of a sudden wished that she was wearing something that made her look somewhat better than she felt,
"I was coming to see you, but I see that your busy," Christians eyes quickly drifted off to Francesco and Darcy could have sworn that he looked annoyed,
"Oh no, we are on our way to breakfast if you'd like to join us," Darcy smiled and seriously hoped that he would say yes even if it meant that she'd have to sit through a meal of Francesco interrogating him.
"No I'd hate to intrude on you two, I'll see you sometime next week then," Christian smiled awkwardly as he turned and made his way back to his car,
"You don't think he thinks that we're together right?" Francesco whispered as Darcy shrugged,
"Did you see the way he looked at you man," she tried to not giggle at the thought of her being with her favorite Italian like that.
"I'll have him know that Scottish girls scare me," he had always said that after meeting Darcy's school friends he decided that he wasn't ever going to go for a Scottish girl after that.

"So you know how you're going to tell your friends about the bubba?" Francesco asked the blonde as she looked up from her bacon and eggs,
"Well the only problem is going to be telling Andy," to Darcy Andy was like the older brother she never had so she knew that if anyone were to have a problem with the situation it would be Andy,
"You know I've actually never understood who he is to you," despite knowing Darcy for over two years Francesco has only heard that the two Scotsmen were close and that was about it.

"We grew up being neighbors, he is like an older brother to me. So when my parents passed the Robertsons took me under their wing as their own daughter," Darcy explained honestly being over the fact that she had lost both her biological parents in the space of just over eight days after each other,
"Are you going to tell Christian that your child won't have grandparents on your side," anyone in the room would be able to hear the caution in his voice,
"My kid is going to have grandparents on my side, the people who have raised me for the past four years are who I call parents, so my child will be brought up with them as their grandparents," Darcy snapped wanting him to just shut up on the topic of her future child.
