24 weeks pregnant
Darcy was spending her final hours in Liverpool with her older brother before she had to be back in London,
"Are you sure you want to go?" Andy asked the younger girl not wanting to see her leave just yet,
"Andy I have to, I still have work there and I'm staying with Mason until everything clears up," the young blonde mumbled the last part not really wanting to admit the state she was in,
"You still haven't spoken to him?" He asked as she nodded not really wanting to talk about it,
"I mean what am I meant to say, 'saw this article about you with another women talk soon?' like there's not a lot you can use as a conversation starter in this," Darcy pointed out resulting in the older Scot letting out a snort,
"Just breathe and let things that the course that they want to," Andy grabbed the younger girls hand and waited for her to take a breathe,
"Look Christian is a good guy from what I've gathered and if you both love each other then you need to fight for him and for what you two have. You two may have not started in the most orthodox way but the way you look at each other you're meant to be, so just hear him out and give him the benefit of the doubt okay?" He added as he pulled Darcy in for a hug,
"Since when are you actually half decent with advice?" Darcy joked as the older boy gave her an unimpressed glare,
"I've always been good at it, what are you on about?" Andy asked the young blonde who sat there with a smirk plastered on her face.
"So how was your week in Liverpool?" Mason asked as he helped the young girl with her bags,
"It was really good, spending time with Andy and the boys is always nice. The boys were sweet when they tried to hide the article from me," she smiled somewhat wishing that she was back with the boys just running around the city,
"What do you mean they were sweet?" He wondered knowing that Darcy would have been fuming about the matter,
"Yea I was annoyed at first, but after I saw how hard they tried to protect me I couldn't try be mad at them, and besides it's Christian I have the issue currently not anyone else," Darcy knew that she shouldn't have been mad at the american but she was moody and pregnant so she felt that her emotions were valid,
"Darc, you know he's been trying to call you right? The gaffer didn't put him on the lineup last weekend because he hasn't been playing up to his normal standards," Mason knew that it wasn't his position to tell Darcy but he did it in the hopes that he would help push her towards the older boy again,
"Well I mean I couldn't figure out how to talk to him, like what do you say to someone who got 'cozy' with another girl?" Darcy didn't want to admit it but until she heard his side of the story the odds weren't really in his favour,
"I don't know why I'm so affected by this, like he's probably only with me because of the kids," she shrugged not wanting to admit the point that was hanging over her head,
"Nah nah hold up, the day after your date in Japan he was on cloud nine and he would always ask when he can see you next. You may not see it but children or not he's head over heels for you." Mason now definitely knew that it wasn't place to her this, but Darcy had always had a fear of others commitment to her after the loss of parents, so he had to show her that the American was there for her.
"So you're telling me that she's back in town and nobody bothered to say anything?" Christian asked as the boys took their water break,
"She got back this morning and Darcy is just going through a lot right now so I wasn't sure if I was meant to or not," Mason shrugged since he had the young blondes best interest at heart, he still felt bad that he had spilled the beans to the older boy,
"She's the mother of my children I think I get the right to talk to her and explain myself," Christian mumbled knowing that he was being a bit of an arse but he didn't have much choice if he wanted to win Darcy back,
"All I'm saying I'd that if I was you I'd talk to her, I'm going to the shops after training so she'd be home alone. But you didn't hear this from me," Mason whispered the last part knowing that Darcy would kill him if she found out,
"I owe you one," the American smiled as he patted the british boy on the back right before getting back to training.
Darcy had been messing around the house for the day but then stopped once she realised that Mason was meant to be heading home soon,
"I wonder what your father is doing?" Darcy mumbled to her belly as she realised this was the longest the two went without speaking since she found out she was pregnant,
"Please tell me that's the pizza," she squealed as the doorbell went so she naturally assumed it was the pizza she had ordered,
"Hi oh," it was safe to say that the young Scot was shocked to see who was actually at the door,
"Can we talk please?" The American asked as he held a bouquet of petunias which he had brought for the girl,
"You got these because of the car?" Darcy smiled as she took the flowers and let the boy in,
"Look all I'm gonna say is that I gave you a way out earlier and that was a one time offer, and if you don't want to be with me then I think I deserve enough respect to not find out through a newspaper article about it, and now that I'm done it's your turn," once Darcy had said everything that she wanted to she was happy giving him his shot,
"Firstly Carly is just a friend and I truly mean that, I should have said that she was coming but I didn't think of it. I'm done fighting with you, I can't and I won't lose you," he whispered as tears welled up in both of their eyes,
"Come give me a hug," all Darcy needed to hear was that he wanted her and she had just heard it,
"I love you, and you two too," Christian smiled as he placed his hand on her belly,
"I love you too," Darcy placed a light kiss on his lips and then rested her head on her shoulder, now this was where she wanted to spend the rest of her days.
