19 weeks pregnant

Darcy was in the process of making a list of the different things that the boys could need once they came out, both Christian and Darcy knew that they were shopping early but they wanted to get it over and done with before Darcy was too big to be able to shop around.

"Why do you look like you're making a grocery list?" Christian asked as he looked over the young girls shoulder to see the long list of things that she had written,

"Half of these things we are getting off of Amazon so don't worry," if there was one thing Darcy had learnt about Christian over the past fourteen or so weeks was that he had a passion for disliking shopping. So with Darcy having a heart she wasn't going to put him through that awfully tedious process,

"You're just too good to me," Christian joked as he threw his arms around her,

"Give me a kiss," he pouted as he tried to get the girls attention as she let out a giggle,

"You in a mood huh," Darcy teased as she put the paper down and turned to him,

"Would you like to walk to the store instead?" He glared at the young girl,

"I'll have you know that I have a car too and it's a nice one," if anyone knew Darcy then they knew that her black Jeep Wrangler was her baby, well that was until she found out she had an actual baby growing inside of her,

"Fine let's take you car," Christian said with his hands held up as he walked off,

"She has a name and it's Petunia!" Darcy added as Christian flipped her off just before he grabbed her keys and turned around,

"So you ready to go?" He grinned as she let out a laugh at his excitement.

Darcy and Christian had wondered around the baby store for the past hour and it was safe to say the two hadn't stopped bickering, and the worst part about it was that neither of them wanted to admit that the honeymoon phase was over and now they had hit their first rough patch.

"We are not getting that," Christian groaned for the fiftieth time as Darcy pulled out another bedtime story,

"No, if you get to run around with a circular ball with them then you bet your ass that I'm reading them The Gruffalo series at night." Darcy protested since she felt as though she should get to choose what 'her' thing would be with the her kids,

"Why are you so adamant on this?" Darcy was usually understanding of Christian being against certain things, so naturally he assumed something was up,

"Because my favourite childhood memories consisted of my parents reading me children stories, so I'm going to be darn sure that my kids get that memory too," Darcy added as she put another book into the cart, yes she did feel bad about using the dead parent card but she was pregnant, tired and most of all annoyed,

"Darcy wait, I'm sorry I didn't mean it." Christian knew he had fucked up, but now all he had to do was figure out which way to win her over would be good this time,

"I know you didn't but I'm pissed off so I'll be seeing you back at the house when I'm done with this by myself," she pointed to the cart as she grabbed it and started walking off almost hoping that he would stop her,

"Wait up," she turned around slightly quick with the glint of hope that he was going to tell her that he loved her and then she would just jump into his arms and the two would just forget about it,

"I need the keys to Petunia," he held his hand out since they had on taken one car which just so happened to be hers,

"Here," Darcy could feel the tears welling in her eyes so she bit the inside of her cheek as she threw the keys to him,

"I'll be at Masons tonight so don't wait up," she added as he gave her a slight nod before watching her walk off.
