Chapter Two

I remember opening my eyes at one point earlier seeing Haley in bruises and scars lying there with her eyes shut. I wanted to reach out for her but I shut my eyes once again.

I slowly opened my eyes again seeing a white room, I got up slowly noticing someone walking in my room.

“Michael Clifford, you’re in the hospital” I looked around again and looked back up at her remembering Haley was with him.

“Where is she, where is Haley”? I asked trying to get up to leave the room but the nurse stopped me

“Mr. Clifford that would not be good”

“Why she’s my wife, I have every right to see her” I said pushing past her walking down the hospital halls looking for my wife.

“Mr. Clifford you’re not going to be able to find you’re wife, she’s in operation at the moment” the nurse said trying to catch up with me; I turned around looking at you

“What’s wrong with her”? I asked

“I don’t know yet sir but once I have information I will tell you”

“Okay” I walked back to my room to get checked up on and then I could go home but I wasn’t going home I was staying her encase Haley woke up. He wasn’t going to leave his wife not now.

Haley was the new freshmen in college with the sweet innocent geek girl look with her pink hair since she always wanted to do that. She was struggling to get to her room with her bags in her hand and a piece of paper with the number 504 written on it. She finally came across the room opening it up seeing a girl already pinning posters up on her side. She turned around smiling jumping off the bed walking over to Haley

“Hi you must be my roommate, I’m Paige” she said leaving her hand out to shake, Haley dropped her bags shaking her hand

“Hi I’m Haley” she told her roommate, there was a knock on the door and the girls both turned around seeing a boy in a ripped tank top showing his muscle off, with a bandana tied around his scruffy dirty blonde hair and just by his looks the girls both knew he was frat boy.

“Hello ladies” he said walking in the room holding a clipboard, Haley and Paige looked at each other confused.

“Hi, um I don’t think you’re supposed to be here”? Haley said speaking up, the boy looked at Haley saying

“Calm down pink hair, the name is Ashton Irwin no I’m not a senior but my cousin is so I’m basically helping him out with my mate who is with the other new girls, so what are your names beautiful ladies” Haley noticed Ashton was into Paige always looking at her and the way he was checking her out.

“I’m Paige” she said smiling

“I’m Haley”

“Alright well ladies I guess I’ll see you around campus, especially you green eyes” Ashton said winking at Paige but before he walked out a boy with black hair ran in looking a bit like rocker. I couldn’t stop looking at him he was hot there was no denying that and he was looking at me too but snapped out of it.

“Ash, Shane needs your help” he said

“Oh right sorry well girls welcome to collage and like I said hopefully I see you around especially you Paige” Ashton winked again before leaving with the boy with the black hair. Haley didn’t know who that boy was but she felt something and thought was she already falling for him?
