"We will be parking here." The Armored Van sat on the curbside of a Bank, four men in the back of the van dawn masks of cartoon characters. A fifth person, a woman, Naomi Abruzzo, has four assault rifles in her lap and she tells them, "Just grab the package. Kill anyone that gets in the way."
David Peterson sat in his trailer smoking a cigarette, Naomi opens the door slowly, "Babe?" David gets up, "Shush! Get in here!" He pulls her inside, closing the door, he takes a long drag on his cigarette, "In the next scene, in the car crash, do you need a few others to be the other goons?" She looked at him and shook her head, "That's it? That's all you want to talk about?" He just shakes his head, "Yeah? What else is there to talk about?" She crossed her arms and turned her back, "You're becoming what I feared... What I've seen..." He just stared at her.
Naomi Abruzzo went home to her Hollywood Hills Mansion, where she and her husband, Tyler Abruzzo lived. Tyler Abruzzo is a surgeon at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, he is in the shower when Naomi arrived home. She enters the bathroom he's showering in, he opens the shower door, "Hey babe." Naomi sits down, "Did you get the parts?" He closes the door, "It's in the basement..."
A package is found on the front steps of the LA FBI Office, which is about seven miles from Willard Blvd. Written in permanent marker on the top it says, in messy handwriting, "aOIVV" The Director of Operations demands the box be examined for finger prints, they come back negative. Inside the box are human body parts, legs and arms and hands. Two of each. The DNA comes back negative of any Citizen in the United States. Agent Rainier finds this whole situation very strange, but he stays out of it as it's out of his jurisdiction.
A Food Truck outside of the studio, which cooks authentic Columbian Food, David lights a cigarette and orders Steak Arepas, Larry, the Producer walks up and orders the same thing. David reeks of gunpowder from the squibs he had painted around his torso and shoulders. Larry turned to him, "You looked good out there Dave, I'm really into this project of yours and Naomis'." David exhaled smoke, "It's so stressful, fuck..." Larry furrowed his brow, "What's going on?" He looked down, "I fucked up my leg, the woman at home is pissed with me since I keep having to check in at the hospital. She rags on me about shit." Larry places his hand on his shoulder, "Listen David, stay true and you will pull threw this. And if you ever need an alibi, I'm here for you. I got you. I'm not just a Producer on this project, Naomi is my friend from Uni, I willingly want to fund her ideas and I want you and her put on the map." David looked up at him, "You remember that movie with Rutger Hauer you produced in 1979?" Larry felt immediate distraught, like a heavy weight in his chest, "Oh, yes... I do. Yes I do..."
A firetruck is responding to the scene of a massive fire in Downtown LA, Larry stands outside next to the firetruck, he watched the fire rage on as a sprinkle of water cleansed his wrinkled face. He turned to his left to see his neighbors watch in awe, one of his neighbors happen to be Katerina Jacob, he walks over to her, "You live around her Kate?" Her german accent, thick yet understandable, inquires, "Larry Freiburger! Oh goodness no, I am err, I am here filming a Television Show over in Inland Empire, you must come visit the studio we are filming in! It is divine!" Larry nodded his head, "I will definitely visit, where are you staying?" She points over to an apartment several buildings down, she turns back to him, "What about you?" He points at the fire, she gasped, "Your home is burning down!" He shrugged, "I'll be alright, I will get a hotel for the meanwhi-" He turns back to her, she is gone. The weight on his chest comes back, in her place is a small child, a young boy, no older than seven or eight. The boy didn't hear a thing he had said.
David finds himself in an arts gallery, no less than thirty minutes ago he ate a THC infused brownie to help him with his anxiety and stress. He was looking at random art pieces, to him they had no meaning or purpose and felt disillusioned with the walls. He finds himself looking at a painting of a diner, several individuals sitting at stools while a cute waitress behind the counter takes their orders, she had bright red lips, while the rest of the canvas oil painting is dark, bleak, and basic. He is attracted to the painting and he stares at it for a long time.
Agent Rainier receives a package in the mail, he knows it came in the mail as he watched the mailman get out of his truck and leave it on his porch. That's what made him feel something weird is going, inside the box was a VHS Tape, he put it in his VHS Player and clicked play. On the TV displayed the following.
A man is chopping up an unknown woman's body on the screen, her face is left out, the shot is viewed from over his left shoulder as his left arm is swinging a very large blade. It was a strange looking blade, it looked like a scythe but it had a tip. It then cut from that to a scene displaying a woman, he recognized her as Naomi Abruzzo. He was wondering if the woman in the previous scene was Naomi. She was smoking a cigarette, the shot was shaky and staticky. The sound was horrible, cutting in and out, crackling and popping. It then cut to black, as it slowly faded into a dark indescribable image, music was playing, an acoustic guitar with vocals, the vocals were craggily but he understood them, "And I play in the backyard sometimes, I am a mechanical boy, It's an illusion, Postulated, mocked up..." Agent Rainier was deeply panicked, his FBI Training didn't train him to witness such a desecration of humanity. On the screen was the footage of Naomi Abruzzo's and David Peterson's deaths. The camera man walks up close to the vehicle and pears inside the window to see Naomi's flesh melting off his body, yet he's still alive. He looks at the camera, breathing his last few breaths before blood pours out of his mouth, nose, eyes, and ears. The camera does not turn away, from the top right corner of the camera people are seen watching the scene from a distance. The scene cuts to black.
