Chapter 5. Skaara, Parties and Belly dancing.

Jess POV.

Piper then Says," well this feels awkward."

Jack and the others come forward.

Jack asks us," What the hell d'you guys say to him?"

Daniel replies," Nothing."

Jack walks over, noticing Skaara looking up. Skaara immediately ducks his head back down I couldn't help be smile, he so cute. Jack starts to speaks to Skaara saying," Hey, it's okay."

He gestures Skaara to rise. Skaara nervously looks at Jack clothes and actions. Jack then says," Hey. See, it's okay. It's okay. See? Huh?"

He shakes Skaara's hand. Skaara panics and yells, running away," Ahh! Si misoy. Si misoy! Kasuf! Kasuf!"

Piper then says," wow you got one hell of a way with people don't you." Jack give her a look in return.

Brown moves his scanner over some of the rock they've been mining. Skaara returns, pointing to us. He is joined by several others, leading a one of those creature with a saddle Kasuf seated behind curtains.

The creature halts, and Kasuf moves the curtains to peer at the us. He gets down from the creature. He takes his staff and approaches, his people following behind. Skaara speaks to him, and he responds. He then turns to the us and, including saying his name. He holds out his staff horizontally in a peaceful gesture and bows his head.

Daniel whispers to Jack," I can't make it out. It sounds familiar, a bit like Berber. Maybe Chadic or Omotic."

Kasuf looks nervously at the us and then calls out to his people. His people begin to rise from their bowed postions. Kasuf cautiously bows from the waist, and makes another order. Seven women, including Shau'ri come forward, bearing bowls. They offer them to them to us. to drink. Shau'ri of course is in front of Daniel.

Daniel says to Shau'ri," Mmm. Thank you."

She bows, her and the women step back. Kasuf bows, and Daniel and Prue, Piper and I bows in return out of respect.

Daniel says," Oh. Here."

He reaches into his pocket and I chuckle as he pulls out a 5th Avenue candy bar. Kasuf looks around confused as Daniel unwraps the chocolate and raises it to his face, smiling then Daniel hum.

" Ya rab-id yu?" Kasuf asked.

Daniel nods and mimes taking a bite of the candy before handing it to Kasuf. Kasuf takes it, and cautiously sniffs before taking a bite. He slowly chews, then his eyes widen and did my best to hold in a laugh.

Kasuf says," Bunni, bunni-wae!"

Daniel repeates confused," Bunni-wae?"

Kasuf repeated again in awe," Bunni-wae!"

He turns, smiling to his people. Daniel repeated again," Bunni-wae."

Kowalski," What's that mean?"

Daniel replied," I have no idea."

Kasuf asked," Si pleu?"

Kasuf bows and gestures for us to come. Daniel said to us," He's inviting us to go with him."

Kowalski," How can you be so sure?"

Piper then rambles," don't you know that this (she repeated Kasuf beckoning to us)
Means come, follow me, let me take you to my village earthling,
Let me be thy guid—"

Prue interrupts her and then pat her on the back ," Piper I think we get it."

I smirked and then said to Jack," We were looking for signs of civilization. Obviously, we found it. You want us to get y'all back home, this is our best shot."
