Cahpter 6 . A kiss on the lips, Ra's backstory and staying.

Nobody's POV.

The storm still rages outside as Ferretti is still trying to use the radio as the others eat MREs.

Ferretti asked into the radio," Kowalski, this is base. Do you copy?"

Freeman reaches over and shuts the radio off saying," You're wasting the battery. We'll never get anything in this storm. We'll have to wait 'till it passes."

Ferretti," Yeah, right. If it passes. You know, I was stationed in the Middle East. I've never seen anything like it."

Freeman says," Yeah, yeah."

The other soldiers ask," I don't understand. Why don't we just...turn the 'gate back on ourselves?"
" Yeah, how hard can it be?"

Ferretti says sarcastically," That would be great! Yet we could turn the thing in the wrong order and...materialize in the...vacuum of outer space. Do you have any idea how many possible combinations there are on that thing?"

And Phoebe finally blows," oh my god, you know what at least it was a suggestion. I mean what are you doing besides complaining about every little thing every second. so if you don't have any useful suggestions or ideas on how we get out of here or how find my sisters and the rest of team, then please all of you, SHUT UP!!!"

The group looks at her shocked and exchange scared looks then quiets down. But then a loud roar is heard.

Everything starts to shakes and the men and Phoebe look around nervously. Ra's ship descends on top of the pyramid. The ship fully engulfs the pyramid.

The men and Phoebe lose their balance at a final loud thump, quickly regaining their footing. The ship locks down on the pyramid. Lights come on throughout the ship.

Ferretti orders," All right, spread out." But Says to Phoebe," and you hide."

The men and Phoebe comply, the men circling amongst the columns and scouting for danger. One of the soldiers is knocked down and dragged away, his rifle left behind. The other sees that, but no enemy. He takes a few steps forward before he too is knocked in the head with a blunt object and falls.

Freeman, Ferretti and Phoebe remain. They hear another noise above them. Another layer of the ship opens, exposing more lights.

Ferretti gestures with his hand for Freeman to take point. He starts moving forward, going around the corner of a column, seeing nothing but Phoebe hiding and some of their equipment. From the other side of the column, he spots Ferretti also scouting around. Freeman moves to the next column, again seeing nothing.

While Freeman moves, Ferretti gets to the equipment, grabbing a larger gun and ammunition.

Freeman sees nothing, but hears something behind him. He turns, only to be knocked down with a cry from the enemy.

Anubis moves forward to take Ferretti from behind. Ferretti turns and fires his weapon just as Anubis reaches him, getting off several shots before being knocked to the ground. Ferretti looks up in shock.

The enemy has gold jewelry representing a claw and a metal jackal head with blue glowing eyes. Ferretti, frightened, raises his hands in surrender, but before he's knocked out he hear Phoebe scream. going to get up to find her something hit his head and his vision goes black.

(Back at the city)

Jess POV.

As storm still blows outside the city. We were all escorted to a little sleeping area for the night. I had just gotten back from changing clothes again cause there was no way I was sleeping in my previous outfit.
