Chapter 9. Sad goodbyes and going home

Jess POV.

Time has passed and Jack is fully geared up in his military fatigues. Skaara and several of the boys are there. Jack shakes hands with Skaara. We all watch as Ferretti and Kowalski are walking with Daniel up to the active Stargate. Daniel still wearing native robes.

Ferretti then says to Daniel," I always knew you'd get us back.

Daniel replies laughing," Yeah, right."

Ferretti Says slapping Daniel on the arm," Later."

Kowalski then come up shaking Daniel's hand.

Kowalski," Thanks, Daniel."

He follows Ferretti through the event horizon. Jack walk over to Daniel.

Jack asks," You sure you want to do this?"

Daniel replies," Yes. I'm sure."

Jack asked again," You gonna be all right?"

I watch as they both look back at Shau'ri, who smiles at Daniel.

" I'm gonna be all right. How 'bout you?"Daniel then said.

Jack looks at Piper who was talking to one of the boys and replies," Yeah."

He and Daniel exchange smiles. Jack chuckles and says," Yeah, I think so."

They shake hands. before we starts up the final few steps, Daniel come over to me and drops the Eye of Ra necklace into My hand and said," Make sure to Tell Catherine it brought us luck."

I then reply with a smile," I will."

I then noticed Skaara who looked at the ground looking like a puppy that was kicked. I walked over to him lifting his chin with my hand and beckons Daniel to asked," Daniel, can you tell him I'm gonna give him something he has to give back if we ever see each other again."

Daniel repeats what I said to Skaara in their native language. Skaara eyes lighten up and looks around me for what I was going to give him.

I then step up to him startling him a bit, I put my hands on the sides of his face and kiss him deeply. He tense at first but then melted into it.

As both of us wrap around one another, Nabeh and the other boys started to cheer and woot, Daniel smiles pushing his glasses up, Jack smirked at us while my sisters and Shau'ri smiled and awed. As I step away to see a dazed Skaara with swollen lips.

I move away to stand beside Jack and My sisters. We all stand framed by the active wormhole, then Jack pauses and Says," I'll be seeing you around, Doctor Jackson."

He steps through the Stargate, my sisters follow as I stood there I wave to Skaara and Daniel in a sad goodbye.

I then turned and walk through the Stargate.

Coming back through the Stargate we get bombarded with questions as the General dragging us one by one into the briefing room for us to give our report on paper.

All of us leaving the base me, Piper, Phoebe, Prue and Catherine all headed towards Catherine's car but before we could get in, Jack calls out to us him, Kawalski and Ferretti all come running to us.

As they all stop right in front of us, Jack in front of Piper saying," look uh we didn't actually get a chance to say goodbye and I wanted to give you something."

He then pulls out a small piece of paper and continues," this is my address I mean if you ever wanna stop by I'll—" but Piper cuts him off," Jack can I talk to you for a second privately."
