"Our family's secret."
As soon as Illa finished her sentence she went out, I look around and saw my siblings' faces filled with shock and horror.
I sipped on my coffee to suppress my smile. Illa, Eves and I have been planning this all along. Well, who wouldn't be mortified with Illa, our eldest, a busy woman, whom we rarely see called us for an emergency meeting for something that she can't reveal without seeing us personally? I winked at Eves as she stood up.
"What's with the long face?? Come on, free your schedules for the next five days. Pack your bags and come back here after an hour okay?" She beamed and cling to me before we went out of the door. Leaving our siblings with confusion and their mouths wide open.
We greeted the staffs on our way to Illa's office. I knocked only to find her signing some papers in her desk. Eves comfortably sat on the couch while I reached for a towel.
"I canceled a lot of operations, this better be worthy or else....." I warned Eves as we walked towards Illa's bathroom.
I heard her mutter some incomprehensible words as I closed the door for a shower.
I am enjoying every drop of my warm shower when I heard a knock.
"Let's go Iris, they'll arrive after 10 mins" I heard Illa shouting. I immediately dried myself and put some make-up on my face.
I looked at my reflection at the elevator, I smiled to show satisfaction to my outfit, lately, I've been wearing scrubs a lot and seeing myself in casual clothes is somewhat a little achievement for me. I am imagining scenarios for what will happen for the next five days when I heard a loud ding. We went out of the elevator and saw my anxious siblings waiting. What a sight, Eiah is biting her nails, Isla is rubbing her nose, Eros is clenching his jaw along side with Iver who's pacing back and forth. Axis who's sweating a lot with Elys and Eura clinging with each other. Asha on the other hand is twirling her hair. And oh, Urse and Ache in front of our car, smoking.
"Okay, divide yourself into three groups and put your things in the car okay?" I heard Eves and Illa giving instructions.
I lit a cigarette as I approached to Urse and Ache. "Make sure to follow my car, especially when we're out of the city okay?"
I heard Urse sighed as he looked at me. He's too lazy to drive but whatever. I'm not giving him any choice. "We're going somewhere beyond the directions internet can't show us so be attentive!! See you later!" And before Ache can even ask a question. I got in the car immediately. I put my seat belt on and glanced at Axis sitting in my passenger seat along with Eros and Eiah at the back. "Are you ready to unveil our secret?" I winked and started my car's engine.
