Time's running so fast, I couldn't even imagine why we ended up here. I can see how my watch ticks every second we're wasting walking around the woods. I can't control my eyes rolling around being suspicious of everything it sees.
"Are we there?" Elys uttered with her face so exhausted.
"It's already 8pm, can we take a break?" Ache as he mentioned the time feeling tired of carrying the girls' bags.
"You guys are saying the same words over and over again." Eves said.
I looked up as I heard rustles from the trees. I opened my flashlight then started pointing on the shrubs.
"Don't worry, all we have to do is to cross the woods then-" She then paused as we saw Azce droped on the ground unconscious.
Everyone rushed towards Azce. Eura grabed the emergency kit on his pack then handed it to Iris. She then checked her pulse and heart rate.
"She's unconcious, what'll we do?" Iris said then saw a sting on Azce's nape.
Suddenly we heared voices echoed behind the woods.
"Everyone hide on the bushes, we're not alone here." I said.
"I'll take care of it." Exie said with such confidence. She started moving her hands slowly until both of her eyes and hands glow. Urse carried Azce on his back then laid her down behind the bushes, the rest follows.
The situation became abrupt as Exie blinks in pain while her magic slowly fades.
"I-I can't control the wolves." She said.
"It's because the ground absorbs any magic that was casted." Eiah said from behind us.
I pulled Exie to the bushes then knelt down in frustration. The place started to reflect a red light from above.
"Guys look!" Eros pointed at the sky like his eyes stunned on the lights.
"What in the hell is that?" Asha asked in confusion.
"It's a dome, we're inside a dome." I said.
"Is that some sort of another spell?" Asha continued.
"I guess it is, it must have reacted on Exie's magic." Isla uttered.
I concluded our distance from our destination then explained it hypothetically.
"The dome's midpoint is about 5km north ahead of us, that'll take an hour for us to get there if we walk in a moderate pace, another hour or two after if we will be taking the other half of the dome. We can't make it especially if magics are prohibited inside. We should go back to its boundaries, there you can use your magic or else we will end up being lost in our own ways-"
"Iver, shhhh." Azce's senses woke her up from her deep sleep as she heard footsteps from behind.
"They're coming from the south." She said.
"We had no choice but to continue." Illa concluded. "On my command, run ahead through the north. Look beyond the skies and follow what Iver mentioned. We'll distract them."
"Azce you're still weak, come with them." Isla said.
Illa handed me and Isla the pistols then stood up and shouted.
"Everybody run!"
We pulled our triggers continuously while heading to something we can hide.
They also have guns on their hands, is there something they want from us? Are they into our secret too? Illa please tell me what's going on.
