'𝙾𝚋𝚜𝚎𝚛𝚟𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝚒𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚔𝚎𝚢.'
Lately, I've been receiving the same texts from an anonymous sender and it's totally bugging me off.
𝙊𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙚𝙮..
I knew the moment Ate Illa called us, something was definitely strange because this is the first time she called us for something 'urgent'. Usually, her secretary was the one who gathers and informs us about the company. 𝖡𝗎𝗍 𝗍𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝗍𝗂𝗆𝖾, 𝗂𝗍 𝗐𝖺𝗌 𝖠𝗍𝖾 𝖨𝗅𝗅𝖺.
𝙊𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙚𝙮..
I shooked my head and opened my eyes. 𝖮𝖻𝗌𝖾𝗋𝗏𝖾 𝗐𝗁𝖺𝗍?!
I began to focus my attention to my siblings. I need to intently distinguish what is needed to be observed.
𝙊𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙚𝙮— to what?
Not too far from me, 𝖠𝗍𝖾 𝖨𝗅𝗅𝖺, 𝖠𝗍𝖾 𝖤𝗏𝖾𝗌 and 𝖠𝗍𝖾 𝖨𝗋𝗂𝗌 was talking about something. Maybe an escape plan? I don't really know. On the other side, 𝖠𝗍𝖾 𝖤𝗅𝗒𝗌 was crying. Maybe because of the shock and the stress, plus the wounds on her feet was gently treated by 𝖠𝗍𝖾 𝖤𝗎𝗋𝖺. Not even 𝖤𝗑𝗂𝖾's comforting words can stop her tears from falling. I know this is inappropriate for this kind of situation but I found it really funny seeing 𝖠𝗍𝖾 𝖨𝗏𝗂𝖾 looked like a malfunctioning robot phasing out, sitting in a dirty table. I chuckled in the thought. But honestly speaking, she's been acting really strange, good thing 𝖨𝗏𝖾𝗋 approached her 𝖻𝗎𝗍 𝗁𝗂𝗌 𝗀𝖺𝗓𝖾 𝗐𝖺𝗌 𝖿𝗂𝗑𝖾𝖽 𝗍𝗈𝗐𝖺𝗋𝖽𝗌 𝖠𝗍𝖾 𝖨𝗌𝗅𝖺'𝗌 𝖽𝗂𝗋𝖾𝖼𝗍𝗂𝗈𝗇.
Far from my other siblings, I saw 𝖪𝗎𝗒𝖺 𝖴𝗋𝗌𝖾 and 𝖠𝗍𝖾 𝖨𝗌𝗅𝖺 from a distance. Kuya Urse's smile was kinda refreshing to my eyes but Ate Isla's reaction remained blank, as if she was in a deep thought.. or maybe she got tired of Kuya Urse's corny punch lines. After a few seconds, she flinched. Hmm, strange.
𝙊𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙚𝙮..
I turned my gaze to 𝖪𝗎𝗒𝖺 𝖠𝖼𝗁𝖾 who's in a very deep thought staring at the cigarette stuck between his fingers. 𝖪𝗎𝗒𝖺 𝖤𝗋𝗈𝗌 was anxiously busy looking around, walking back and forth. The silence was deafening. I waited for someone to make a decision or break the ice but each one of us remained silent. Usually, I was the one who brightens up the mood, but this time it was different.
𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.
As I scanned the place more, I remembered their laughs from Ate Illa's office. The excitement in their eyes earlier was replaced by confusion and anxiety and everyone was trying to figure it out. I should find out as soon as I had a minute alone.
I stood a little space from the others. A heavy sigh escaped from my mouth. I can't think of any solution that's possible, damn it. My brain keeps racing with unanswered questions when I suddenly felt dizzy.
Kuya Eros turned his gaze at me and frowned. I signaled that I needed to head out for a moment to get some fresh air. He worriedly nodded and mouthed '𝘉𝘦 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬.'
Something is really wrong with me. I tried to grasp it before I could be distracted again so I started to walk away going towards the west side of the house. I wondered if this was what had really happened if it's from another time. Are we too early to arrive here at 𝗔𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗺? Was it destined to happen this way? I need to figure this out as soon as possible. I was abruptly not so sure of my thoughts. I didn't even realized that I was walking away from the house. It took me a while to examined the place.
This place was actually refreshing. The wind wailed through the trees whispering softly. I heard strange snapping sound of twigs and rustles, and the scurrying sound of tiny animals became a lullaby to my ears. The breeze turned helpfully gentle to calm my nerves. The atmosphere of the center of this alluring forest was warm if it wasn't just because of the danger it possess.
A sudden movement across from me catches my eye. I saw a bird and began to follow it. Deep in the forest, there flows an ethereal waterfall. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘼𝙚𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖 𝙈𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙢.
I can't believe my eyes when I saw the bird passes through the falls. My eyes widened, a bolt of nervousness run through my spine.
𝙊𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙚𝙮..
I followed the slightest sliver of light across from me. I am shaking- no, I have been palpitating. It feels like my heart is trying to jump out of my chest. I can't breathe.. It's like I'm sucking air through a straw.
𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘮 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯.
The roar of the cold water hitting against the rocks became louder and louder. I shut my eyes closed as the water splashed on my body. The moment I opened my eyes, 𝘐 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘵𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘥.
The sun peeked over the horizon and at that very moment, 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘦.
I am too weak to run but I managed to walk slowly. I tried to scream my lungs out but nothing came out. It really hurts too much to talk. After a few seconds, I am experiencing panic attacks.
𝘕𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦.. 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.
𝘐'𝘮 𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦..
I can't breathe. I am gasping for more air. My heart is beating really fast and my whole body is shaking. Suddenly, I fell on the ground.
Everything flashed back on my mind, from the moment it started to where it all went wrong.
𝙊𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙚𝙮..
I am in the midst of thinking when realizations hit me. 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘐 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯?

Tears escaped from my eyes then suddenly, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘬.
