"yes, newt, for the tenth time, minho and y/n are going to come back." alby replied.
newt started losing hope that you would come back as one more minute passes and the maze was about to close. he didn't want to lose you, especially because you meant the world to him.
just at the last minute when all the gladers gave up waiting, you and minho turned the corner and approached the glade.
"y/n!" newt said, his face immediately lighting up.
"hey newtie," you smiled as newt pulled you into a hug.
"I thought you weren't going to make it," newt said, kissing your forehead.
