"zaney come on! please come!" raine and adelaide begged their best friend. they were getting ready to go to a party, and zane was being stubborn. she didn't want to go.
zane shook her head, and crossed her arms and legs on her bed. adelaide let out a huge sigh, and left the two younger girls in the room while wearing a light pink sundress.
"what if i call zach? and he comes?" raine coaxed. zane rolled her eyes, but nodded. she handed raine her phone, and the girl called zach.
"hello?" zach's voice came through from the other end.
"hi zach! it's raine, will you come to a party so zaney comes?"
"hi rainbow!" zach squealed like the time before. "and uh sure? where's the party? oh hi zay!"
"thank you!" raine turned to zane now. she waved, signaling to the girl on the phone. "zane says hi!" raine went towards the closet, after putting the phone on speaker. "the address is six four three nine park avenue."
"ok i'll be there. what time?"
"eight. bye zach!"
"bye rainbow!" zach ended the call, and headed up to his room. he grabbed out a leather jacket from his closet, and a black and white striped shirt. he put them on, and paired the top half of his outfit with black ripped jeans, and black high top vans.
at the girls' house, raine was digging through zane's closet, as well as hers, trying to find an outfit for the younger girl. she already had on a pair of flowery shorts, and a black cropped shirt. she had slip on white vans covering her feet.
she pulled out a short white skirt, and a dark green tank top. raine tossed them over to zane, and left the room so she could change.

"zay! rainbow! adela!" zach greeted as the three girls walked over to him at the party. adelaide scowled.
"don't call me adela, herron."
"fine, conner." he mocked. "hi zay!" zach went over and gave her a hug which she gladly returned. "hi rainbow! bye rainbow!" he said as the girl went off to dance with some others.
the music was almost shaking the house, but surprisingly, almost no one was drunk or high.
"well if it isn't zane montgomery and adelaide conners." a tall girl with caramel hair came up to the trio.
"oh and it's mila stone." adelaide turned around to face the girl and scoffed. zach raised his eyebrows, wondering the history between the girls.
"why are you so rude to me?" mila had a surprised expression on her face.
"well i don't know, you definitely don't deserve it, right?" adelaide took a step forward.
"I wasn't the one who tortured her for four years." mila told her.
"but you didn't stop it either." adelaide countered.
"fine, you're right." mila sighed and continued. "i'm sorry that my sister bullied you, and i didn't do anything about it." she was now talking to zane.
"she still doesn't talk." adelaide spoke. mila rolled her eyes and left the three standing there.
"um what was that about?" zach finally spoke up after she had left. he had watched the whole conversation from the sidelines, and was very confused.
"mila's older sister, molly, bullied zane in high school for not talking. i hate that girl." adelaide huffed, and went to go get a coke.
"do you hate her?" zach now asked zane. she shook her head, but pulled out her phone.
"i do hate her sister though." she wrote. zach chuckled at her words.
"i bet you do."
