The blue haired man pulled in front of the alleyway, grabbing the iced americano from the cup-holder beside him as he got out of the car. As he sipped from the straw a loud voice rang from the other side of the caution tape, "Hongjoong! You're usually early.. what happened today?" The older rolled his eyes tossing the now empty cup into a trash can, "Someone ordered the whole ass menu at the café. But whatever, details please Wooyoung, keep it as short as possible, I'm not in the mood." He muttered stepping underneath the caution tape.
"Well the body hasn't been identified yet but... Caucasian male, mid to late 20's, several gunshot wounds, cause of death was a blow to the head, he's been dead for approximately... 14 hours." Hongjoong crouched next to the body, lifting up the white plastic sheet covering the corpse, "And why are we here?" Wooyoung bit his lip before answering, "There was note in his pocket." Hongjoong sighed and extended his hand for the note.
𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑨𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔,
𝑰 𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒕𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒔 𝒅𝒐𝒈𝒔. 𝑺𝒖𝒄𝒉 𝒂 𝒔𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖'𝒓𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒂𝒚 𝒐𝒇𝒇, 𝒊𝒕 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒎𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕. 𝑰 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝑰 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉, 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒔𝒏'𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆.

"Please don't rip it up. It's kinda evidence." Wooyoung took the note from Hongjoong's grasp, placing it in an evidence bag. "Let me guess. They haven't found the other body." Hongjoong stood up, inspecting the scene. "No... I looked around myself too. I don't know what he was talking about, he could've been lying ya know." Hongjoong shook his head removing the plastic sheet entirely and stepping back to look at the entire scene. "He's not lying. There's something we're not seeing. Where's Yunho and Mingi?" He spoke as he paced around the corpse, scanning every detail. "They took the guy that found the body in for questioning." Hongjoong hummed in response, still focused on the body. "Well I'm gonna leave you two to yourselves.. I'm gonna head back to the station, call me if you find anything."
Wooyoung left Hongjoong alone to his thoughts. He paced every inch, looked at the body from every degree, even rearranged every trashbin in the entire alley. But nothing provided answers.
Hongjoong was sitting on the concrete, staring at the corpse when his phone rang. He sighed and answered the call, "What is it Wooyoung... yeah I'm still here... no I didn't find anything, it doesn't make sense... alright just tell me right now." Hongjoong held the phone to his ear and he stood up, brushing his pants off. "Hey were his eyes closed?.... They weren't... No, I mean it's just a hunch... yeah he could've been looking.. hold on let me put you on speaker."
He put the phone on top of a closed trashbin, putting Wooyoung on speaker as he walked over to the body. "What's he looking at Joong?" Hongjoong looked in the direction that the man's head was turned, "It's just a wall." Hongjoong threw his head back in annoyance, "It's nothi-" His words stopped when he saw the metal staircase on the side of the building. "What is it?" Wooyoung's voice rang out from the phone. "Sneaky bastard. There's stairs, is this an apartment complex?"
