Everyone expected Seonghwa to put up a fight in court, but when his charges were finished being listed he responded, "Guilty." Seonghwa would be facing lifetime in prison for many charges, a life he would have to get used to. He was immediately transported to a prison after the court session.

Upon entry he heard yelling and cursing, many of his new prison-mates were probably people who had worked for Seonghwa or who's lives he'd ruined.

He acknowledged his name being cursed and yelled but proceeded to be led to his cell. "Don't get too comfy, you got a friend who's coming to visit you in a few." The security guard spat, pushing Seonghwa into the cell and locking the metal door.

He turned on his heel, relieved to see that no one else was in the cell.

Seonghwa laid onto the hard metal bed, staring at the ceiling. "Kim Hongjoong.. what am I going to do with you.." If there was one thing one shouldn't do, it was betray Park Seonghwa. Although at first he didn't feel anger, over the past few days he'd been alone in his thoughts, and he'd grew to absolutely despise the blue-haired man. "I could think of hundreds of ways to gut your throat in this cell. Funny that I used to love you.. but now I loathe you."

"Do you mind!" I voice called from the cell next door, "Keep your murderous thoughts to yourself please!"
Seonghwa rolled his eyes but proceeded to mumble, cursing and releasing all his thoughts into the air.

Seonghwa was woken from his nap by banging on his cell doors, "Hey! Your visitor's here, get up." He groaned and stood up, extending his arms through the bars so they could be cuffed. He pulled them back and the door was opened.

To his surprise the security guard didn't lead his to a visitor's room, but an investigation room. "Hongjoong, you fool." Before stepping inside, the guard recited a set of rules for Seonghwa to follow before letting him in.

Sitting at the table he saw the blue haired man, staring down at his lap. He looked up with a weak smile, "Seonghwa.." The taller sat down in the chair across from him, "Am I supposed to like you still?"

Hongjoong was taken aback at the comment, "I- I'm sorry. It's just.. you.." He couldn't think of a way to explain himself. "If you're here to pretend to apologize to me, you shouldn't have come at all. Spare the theatrics for once."

"Seonghwa I'm sorry! I know I shouldn't have done that! I shouldn't have led you on that far! And I promise that I wouldn't have even done it in the first place if I didn't have to!" Hongjoong talked in an urgent voice, Seonghwa could tell he was actually being sincere. But he wouldn't let in this time.. not again, "Sure. Say you're sorry a million times to me, but answer me this," He leaned forward to Hongjoong, "Did you actually every like me? As a friend."

"...O-of course I did!" Hongjoong's stuttering was all Seonghwa needed to confirm his suspicions. "You're a horrible liar. Funny thing is, I thought we could actually go somewhere in a relationship. Maybe date, be happy. The dinner that I had planned for us that day.. it was your favorite dish. I planned everything to your desires, your favorite drink, even planned to watch your favorite movie afterwards. I cleared the entire house so that you could be more comfortable. I did everything for you. And how did you repay me? A bullet to my knee." He scoffed and raised an eyebrow at the agent.

Hongjoong was about to raise a hand to caress Seonghwa's face but he stopped himself, holding his hand tightly in his lap. "I came here to offer you something.. I can bring your sentence down to 60 years. I'd have to pull strings but-" Seonghwa laughed out, stopping the shorter man. "You're gonna bring my sentence down to 60 years?! Even if you could, I'd rather rot here than take your help."

Hongjoong had become annoyed, "Fine then. Stay here and rot for all I care. Goodbye." He stood up and left the roof, glancing at Seonghwa before he left.

"Gosh do I feel offended.." Seonghwa sarcastically commented to himself. The guard stepped in, ushering Seonghwa back to his cell.

"I will see you again Kim Hongjoong. And that's a promise."

Hongjoong arrived home, immediately throwing himself onto his bed. "I fucked up didn't I?" His phone rang, annoying him. Yunho, he could never complain about talking to Yunho though. The man had always been the back-bone of the team, being an immense support.

"I was about to start crying.
How dare you interrupt me?"

"You better not be crying
over Seonghwa.."

"I don't know what I'm crying about..
I know he deserved it but
part of me feels bad for him."

"I understand.. But I'll tell you
what he doesn't deserve,
your sympathy. He's just another man
Joong. The guys and me are gonna
go do a 'celebratory drinking night'.
I wanted to offer to pick you up."

[ Drinking? Not a bad idea. But
Hongjoong didn't feel like getting
drunk either.. Just seeing his friends
would be enough. ]

"Sure. What time?"

"9, be ready."

"Alright, see you then."

Was Seonghwa really just 'another guy'? Hongjoong was so immersed in getting rid of the man that he didn't consider his feelings. He forgot that Seonghwa was a person, with feelings, just like him. The very point that Seonghwa tried so hard to make to Hongjoong, the reason he trusted Hongjoong in the first place. All he wanted to do was show Hongjoong that he was a person too, he was just like every other person. Mistakes, flaws, imperfections, just like everyone else. But he also had feelings.. he had happiness, sadness, and love. He had love for Hongjoong, but he just had to backstab him like that. It really was too late.
