Merlin's POV

Knock, knock.

I looked at Mordred lying beneath me. I jumped off the bed and he pushed me behind the dressing screen before going to the door. I heard it creak open.

"Hello, Mordred. Long time no see, eh?" Morgana, I felt chills run down my spine. "Morgana, how are you?" Mordred welcomed her, keeping her outside the door.

"Are you not going to invite me in?" She said coldly. He looked toward the tub then back at her, "I was actually about to start a bath." He said apologetically. She sighed, "I guess I will see you later then."

I heard the door close and lock. I walked out from behind the screen, "You can't talk to her." I stated.

"Why? What has she done? She helped me to all those years back."

"She killed Uther. Well had it arranged for him to be killed."

He stared at me in shock. "Morgana did that?"

I nodded to him, he sat back down on the bed. I closed the distance between us putting my hands on his cheeks. He looked up at me with soft hurt eyes. I knew I shouldn't be doing this, but I can't tell my heart no. No matter how hard I try. I love the Druid boy.

I leaned down and gave him a small kiss full of love. He had tried telling me that he wasn't worthy to love me and I was determined to prove him wrong. He tried to pull me closer as I pulled away. "I'll heat your bath water, you should take one to relax your muscles for tomorrow." Mordred wrapped his arms around my waist as I stood in front of him. "Please stay with me?"

I leaned my forehead against him, our noses touching. "I wish I could, but Gaius would notice if I was gone two nights in a row. Plus I heard the knights this morning in the armory. Wouldn't want them to be suspicious, now would we?" I almost purred to him. I wanted to stay with him to protect him but I knew I needed to go.

I walked over to the tub and whispered an enchantment to slightly heat the water for him. "Come," I told him, my voice soft but firm. He stood and walked to me. I unlatched his armor and slid it off. Taking the chainmail next. "I assume you can do the rest." I leaned in to kiss him goodbye. He grabbed me and pulled me closer to him, deepening the kiss.

I slowly pulled away. "Goodnight my Druid boy."

"Goodnight Emrys."

I woke the next morning to Gaius calling my name. I ran down the steps, "Yes?" He looked at me and picked up a draft from the table. "Take this to the king with his breakfast, please." I nodded and left to get dressed. I grabbed the king's breakfast and walked to his room. I knocked on the door and entered when I didn't hear anything, assuming the king was asleep. When I walked in I seen Mordred talking to the king at the far table in the room. The Druid boy looked up at me and smiled when I entered.

"I'm sorry, my lord. I will sit this here for you." I started to set everything down before Arthur stopped me.

"I'll be needing to talk to you too." I nodded.

I cleaned up the room while I waited for the king and my Druid boy to finish. I smiled to myself as I thought about him being mine. Although we haven't talked about it, I would hope he would be mine. I'll have to find time to talk to him about it.

Soon Mordred left, smiling at me as he went. I smiled back, walking to the king. "Yes, my lord?" He looked at me with a serious look. "This is about Morgana." I froze. Had she saw me in Mordred's chambers last night and told Arthur?

"She is plotting something. I'm sure of it." I relaxed a little bit.

"How are you so sure?" I asked.

"The guards have noticed her leaving at weird times of the night and having suspicious people walking around the city at night. I've ordered them to arrest anyone suspicious, no matter who it is." He started saying his plan about catching her doing something bad. Eventually, he sat and ate his breakfast and we started to the armory.

"I won't be needing you today Merlin. Go help Mordred get ready for the ceremony tonight." I bowed and walked toward Mordred's chambers. Glad I get to spend the day with him. I knocked on the door when I got there. It took a minute but he opened the door slightly to see who it was. His face lit up with joy when he saw me. He pulled me inside, locking the door behind me.

"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be with Arthur?" The Druid asked me. I simply pulled him close to me by his waist and explained, "He said he didn't need me today so I was to help you prepare for the ceremony tonight."

His eyes filled with glee. I found myself enjoying the sight of the happy Druid. It made my heart fill full. I gave my Druid boy a small simple kiss before pulling away and starting my way to the cupboard with clothes. "We should start with what you will wear." I looked through his clothes and found a nice deep red shirt and some pants to go with it. I sat the clothes on the table and reached to undress the Druid. He slightly pulled back from my touch.

"Oh, I'm sorry Mordred. I am used to dressing Arthur." I apologized and gave him the clothes.

"It's alright Emrys. I'm just not used to someone doing things for me." I nodded, understanding. I began to gather and polish the armor he had worn before. Cleaning his boots and making sure it all was perfect.

"Emrys?" I heard him softly speak. I turned to him as he looked at all I had done. "You didn't have to do all this." I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around him, "I did have to, by order of the king." I teased him. He looked up at me in awe. He actually thought I was a God, didn't he?

I buried my face into his neck leaving small kisses trailing my way to the nape of his neck. I pulled him closer to me and guided him toward the bed. Pulling him into my lap as I sat on the bed. His hands found his way to my hair, slowly running trough. I pulled back and looked him in his bright blue eyes. "I have to ask you something Mordred," I said to him. I felt his body tense, he soon relaxed as I began to rub small circles on his hips. "Yes, Emrys?"

"Mordred, I have such great feelings for you. I just wanted to know if you wanted to be mine?" I asked him and I never thought I could see one person so happy. He bounced a little in my lap,

"Of course Emrys, I will be yours until the end of time!"

We sealed it with a kiss, full of love.
