"P-pangalawa?" I almost got choked by my own saliva.

"Uh-huh.

"L-lola?"

"Don't make too much noise, ah?

"Tito at tita?"

I crossed my fingers at my back, hoping all of his family were already asleep. I didn't expect that na marami palang nakatira sa kanila or let me put it this way—AS IN BUONG SUSON NANDITO, MGA BAKS! Only his Lola knew that I'm going to spend the night here, paano pa kaya pagkagising ko na sabay pala kami kakain ng almusal and his relatives might get shocked in the morning, knowing that Felipe brought a girl home.

Before Felipe opened the stainless door that was connected to their dirty kitchen, I immediately blocked his way, "Ugh. Nagbago isip ko. Sa labas nalang namin ako matutulog."

My heart is literally pounding right now because of nervousness. I don't wanna leave such impression to his family.

"Oo nga," naiinis niyang sabi,  "Sabi niya pa nga sa kwarto ko ikaw matutulog, since our guest rooms are occupied by my cousins."

"C-cousins? May cousins pa?"

I was stunned for a second. He shove me off and entered the house first.

"Ano?" I nearly jumped out of my skin when Felipe came back, "Hindi ka pa papasok?"

I sensed he was getting impatient by my actions, I can really hear the annoyance from his tone. I bet he's now tired and sleepy.

As I entered the kitchen—the place was dark, the moon's beamlight gleamed the place through their clerestory window. Ang daming pasikot-sikot sa bahay nila, bumuntot lang ako sa anino ni Felipe, hopefully I won't get lost. He escort me to their living room—my attention went to the cylindrical 60" inch TV that was illuminating the whole area, I don't know why Felipe didn't switch the lights on.
