my alarm rang through out my bed room. i groaned turning over and hitting the snooze button.
what the. why was i at home?
don't tell me knocking that bitch out was a dream. i sat there thinking about the whole thing then laughing.
"mani, get up! you have a volleyball meeting girl" my dad walked in my room as i rubbed my eyes.
and you know when you're in the the middle of a good eye rub you go deaf for a second.
"why are you still sitting there? am i talking to myself?" my dad sassed as i giggled.
"i'm getting up" i scooted out bed.

"so i knocked that bitch out and the police came" i explained to brina as she drove following with a giggle.
"we going back to sleep so we can tag that hoe once again"
"period" i said doing the little hand motion as the car came to a stop.
we hopped out and gathered our belongings as she guided me to the entrance.
brina moved her two years before i did so she knows where everything and who everyone is.
we walked in the gym and were instantly greeted by almost ten other girls.
"hi brina!" a dark skin female said as she smiled brightly. omggg, she's beautiful!
"waditdooo kenzieeee" she dragged as they hugged each other.
"and you must be emaniii" she smiled.
"i'm, kenzie greene" she embraced me in a hug too.
after that, i found a place at the table grabbing my phone to text zaire.
without aware coach's voice struck in the room making silence fall in the room.
"hey ladies, as you know i'm coach haywood and i cannot wait for this years varsity season. we will strive to be the best and we will bring home that state title" she said making the girls and i cheer.
"as you may know. we do have a new right side hitter, emani monroe." she pointed at me and the girls started to cheer again as i smiled and waved as my eyes scanned the room.
a blonde chick with a mug caught my eye

"who was that white chick with the blonde hair?" i asked as brina and i say by the pool.
"oh, emma bradley? that bitch has like 3 cars, 12 birkins, is friends with kylie jenner, her dad is the principal and she literally never gets in the game" brina said typing away on her phone.
"i- oh wow" i nodded my head awkwardly as bronny busted in the pool area jump scaring brina and i.
"it's always yo wack ass" brina rolled her eyes making me giggle.

"zaireeeee" i said happily pulling him into a hug.
"didn't you say you were gonna beat my ass?" he said as everyone said "oouuu"
"why y'all being messy?" i rolled my eyes awkwardly shooing them away.
"chile anywaysssss" i said pullin zaire in the kitchen as everyone looked at bronny's phone.
he was showing them a tiktok about a "bayang" i- [ a/n: not the bayangggggg. the bayanngggg. oohh woahhh oouu. omg LMFAOOOO ]
"so how was the meeting?" zaire smiled at me looking through the pantry for snacks.
"i was good but some girl-" i was then cut off by my phone ringing.
zaire was alarmed stopping in his tracks to look at me.
my heart dropped as i grabbed my phone and seeing my ex's name pop up.
marcus would like to facetime...
