That evening there were many news headlines about the family. The father was a hunted criminal and has been undercover for several years now. Apparently, he had changed his name, appearance, and moved to England. Jane helped with the questioning aswell and with her contacts, she discovered that there was a plot to kill the Queen at Buckingham Palace on the 5th November, just like the plot in 1605.
I felt so proud to be a part of this tragic discovery and relieved to have prevented such an awful disaster. Without Jane’s help and encouragement, I dread to think what could have happened. Not only did my best friend save my life, she saved many others aswell.
She was no plain Jane.
