Days have passed and still there's no changes.
I think she's avoiding me....
Everyday,when I woke up she's gone, she's already entered in school. But she's leaving a note for me saying that she needs to be in school early because of the project,again.
Her parents are here. So are the kids and her uncle. They visited me so I volunteered myself to cook a lunch,at first they didn't want me to do it because lisandra will going to be mad at them, but I insist.
I notice, lately, lisandra seems to be always in a problem. She treats me differently now too, when I first came here she almost never left my side but now she avoids at least my gaze.
Is that something I need to know? Or did she has a problem with me?
Maybe I'm a burden here now.....Ani! They didn't even treat me bad. Tsh! What am I thinking?!
I'm done cooking. I was about to get out of the kitchen but I heard lisandra's mothers voice.
"Hanggang kailan siya titino, Ferdinand?", she said. I immediately pick up my phone and record their conversation.
I hide behind the wall.
"Ano na naman bang problema sa kanya?", Mr Ferdinand ask. I heard lisandra's mother sigh.
"Eto na ulit ang report card niya, tingnan mo", she said. Few seconds after Mr Ferdinand talk.
"Lahat ay.....bagsak", he said in a low tone.
"Ulit, Ferdinand. Bumagsak ulit siya. Simula nung nangyari ang trahedyang yon,di na siya bumalik sa dati. Sa apat na taong pag-aaral niya sa unibersidad na iyon ay ito ang kauna unahang pagkakataon na bumagsak siya. Hindi naman siya ganito dati eh", lisandra's mother said in a pity tone. Mr Ferdinand sigh.
"Alam niyo naman ang dahilan niya diba? Hindi niya kinaya ang trahedya limang buwan na ang nakalilipas. Sa dami ng taong naghirap at nagdalamhati ay siya ang pinaka lubos na nasaktan non. Intindihin niyo na lamang siya", Mr Ferdinand said.
"Naiintindihan naman namin siya eh. Pero hanggang kailan pa Ferdinand! Iba na siya kumilos ngayon! Dati siyang mabait at magalang pero ngayon ay naging bastos siya at walang modo! Dati siyang inosente at tahimik pero ngayon ay nakikipag-away na siya! Babae ang anak namin, Ferdinand at hindi bagay sa kanya makitang leader pa siya ng kinatatakutang GANG dito sa lugar na to!", lisandra's father frustratedly said.
My eyebrows twitched.
A gang?! And a leader?! What does that mean?!
"Intindihin niyo na lang muna siya. Di pa naman malala-----"
"Gangster na ng anak ko, Ferdinand! At siya pa ang namumuno non! Di ko kayang mapahamak ang anak namin!", lisandra's mother said.
I can't stand what in hearing now so I interrupted them.
"Lunch is ready!", I smilingly said.
They look in me with shock.
"How long you've been there, Lucas?", Mr Ferdinand ask.
"I just walk out here,sir. Why? What's the matter?", I lied.
He shook his head and he simply give back the report card to lisandra's mother. He smiled at me.
"I'm just going to call the kids", he said and then walked out. I look at lisandra's parents and smile.
"Let's go, ma'am,sir?", I said. Lisandra's mother laughed shyly.
