Thank you for taking the time to read this short story. I would like to inform you that I have had this story in mind for years but never knew how to write it. This story is completely fictional with locations and names based on other places and people.

I have multiple messages for this story that I hope people take away from. One is that if you love someone let them know, but if they don't reciprocate your feelings then let them go. I know that it is easier said than done but everything is easier said than done. The second lesson is, it is best to take a chance than regret never taking the chance and having to live with what-ifs and the unknown. I know making the first move can be challenging for everyone and not just introverted people but sometimes moving that confident foot forwards can lead to wonders. Lastly, the lesson most people know is that money can't buy true love. I am sure there is someone out there that can prove me wrong but from what I know love is earned not bought.

The character Jade N is based on someone real and they hold a special place in my heart even though she might never know how much I regret not getting to know her better or asking her questions. This is what makes love so powerful because we hold onto the memories that we want to have happened. One day I hope I can move on but at the same time, I wish to take a glance at her vivid green eyes, raven black hair, and her gorgeous smile that walked out the door but never returned.

Also, this story is from Andie's point of view so some thoughts, feelings, and actions are warped from her perspective. That is why some of the thoughts, feelings, and actions seem to be dramatic and crazy.

This story does not speak for all on what anxiety or panic attacks could look like.

This story does not depict what a healthy relationship is.

This story does not condone self-harm. Please seek help if needing it. Below are some numbers for the United States.

If this short story gets to 1K reads or 100 stars I will add an alternative ending about Jade and Andie that is quite steamy and explains a bit more about their relationship!
