A sea of gold and color has enveloped me, with tiny snowflakes falling on my face, as I am lying on this peaceful sea. There is no sound and the only thought I can make is that I am in Heaven, surrounded by serenity and calmness.

But as I move on and swim across this golden water, my hands become numb and the water quickly transforms into crystal trapping me in.

"No, let me go!" I shout and plea at the crystal, thinking that it will free me.

Then the crystal starts to move upwards, covering my chest, shoulders, neck until it reaches my face. It is cold and I scream as the crystal finally closes me in until I am lost in the light.

"NO!"

Anastasia

"Ana! Ana, wake up!"

I don't realize that I am sweating until a cold hand touches me on the face. Before I even manage to open my eyes, someone is pulling me up, shaking me with speed.

"No! Let me go!"

"Snap out of it Anastasia!"

And I open my eyes; Marco is looking at me worried with his hands on my shoulders. It was already morning but the sky was still cloudy, as I could see from the window across my room.

"Marco?"

"Are you alright? You sure gave me a fright."

Quickly he pulled his hands away and got up from my bed, leaving a relieved breath.

"I had a strange dream, that's all."

"People who scream in their sleep they are not dreaming, they are having a nightmare!" he protested.

"But it began with really nice scenery!" I pout with disagreement.

"Hoo, so it was a good one?"

Marco turned at me and smirked with tease. So now he is making fun of me? But still, I am glad that he is in the mood.

"Who knows? Maybe I was having a good time with someone."

"Really? And who is the -soon to be a dead man- lucky one?"

I smiled widely and crossed my hands on the chest.

"That's a secret."

Suddenly the sound of metal falling made us jump from startle. Pushing the blankets aside and grabbing the pillow, I stood up.

"Marco, did you see the ghosts?"

"I think they were on the kitchen when I entered the house. Why?"

Oh God, they were going to...

"Ana, say something; that look on you is scary."

"To the kitchen hurry!"

Opening the door, we rushed out from my room until I reach the wooden gunwale of our stairs. With a hop, I slid down, while Marco held my right hand, and I made my way into the kitchen.

Persea and Haimei had opened the fridge and the remains of broken eggs were all over the floor, while Kachina was holding three packets of biscuits. The table on the center of the kitchen was full of flour as the bottles of milk were open on it.

It was a disaster!
