After about ten minutes, I had made a few skeleton puns, jokingly suggested that he should look behind the lamp a few times, which I knew he would refuse to do, and Papyrus had decided to leave to go make more puzzles. After he was out of sight, I told Frisk that they could come out from behind the lamp. They slowly walked out toward me again. "You wanna keep heading forward? I could show you the way to Snowdin if you want. Or, we could take a shortcut. Or, we could even stay right here. What do you think?" Frisk looked thoughtful for a minute before deciding that they wanted to take a shortcut. "Okay then. Follow me." Frisk walked next to me as I led them into the shadows, and in less than a second, we were in Snowdin.
