All of this began in the Ruins. The Ruins are a nice place to visit and walk around. Friendly monsters, relaxing atmosphere, an all around nice place really. I teleported to the beginning like I do most days, ignoring my job as sentry, but this time around, I saw something peculiar. There was a human laying flat on their face on top of the golden flowers. They looked okay, but I didn't know for sure if they were injured or not, so I brought a friend over to check. When we got back the human was awake and was now talking to a flower. Ok then. We overheard what they were saying. The flower claimed that its' name was Flowey. Really...? Flowey the flower? How creative. As we started to approach, the flower summoned an attack. White bullets surrounded the human, slowly drawing closer. Before the attack hit the human, I swatted it away and my friend shot a fire ball at Flowey, causing him to retreat back underground. My friend helped the human up and introduced herself. "Hello there, I am Toriel; Caretaker of the Ruins. Do not fear my child, I will show you around. Follow me."
