•Jayy's POV•
Dahvie was fast asleep beside me. I couldn't sleep. The thoughts running through my mind were terrifying. What if Dahvie changes his mind? What if he leaves me stranded at the alter? What if..? Okay that's enough. I need sleep.
I rolled onto my stomach, laying my arm across Dahvie. I turned my head to face him. He had a smile on his face. Must be dreaming. I shut my eyes and tried to picture the day he was finally mine forever.

"Where's Dahvie?" I asked his mother again.
"I don't know. He was supposed to be here an hour ago. He still isn't here."
I walked away so she wouldn't see me crying. I knew this would happen. I just knew it.
I went out to my car and grabbed my phone. I saw that he had called a few times so I called him back.
"Jayy, something terrible happened."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm in the hospital again. I was on my way when someone hit me. I need you here. I know we were supposed to get married today but-"
"Say no more. I'm on my way."

I sat straight up in bed. Dahvie was lightly snoring beside me. I shook my head and sighed. I can't sleep. I just can't.I got out of bed and grabbed my phone and keys. I decided to go for a drive. Dahvie wouldn't be awake for a while.
I drove out to the ocean. I sat in my car and watched the waves roll in. I watched a few women and men as they ran down the beach. I thought about Dahvie. He was distraught when I left him. He wouldn't leave me, would he?
As soon as the sun started to rise, I went home to find Dahvie crying on the couch. When I walked in, he ran up and threw his arms around me.
"I thought...you...left me...again..." he managed to say between sobs.
"Dahvie," I murmured. "I'm never leaving you again. I promise." I kissed the top of his head.
"Where were you?" He asked once he was under control.
"I couldn't sleep, so I went down to the beach and watched the waves."
He frowned. His face was no longer red and blotchy. The only evidence of him crying was his red nose and bloodshot eyes.
"Are you...having second thoughts?"
"What? No!" I was shocked. "I was just afraid you were having second thoughts, or that you'd leave me stranded at the alter..." I looked down at my hands.
He laid his head on my shoulder. "I'd never do that. You're stuck with me."
I laughed, thinking of our song 'Always and Forever'. "There's no one else I'd rather be stuck with."
We both laughed and then sighed. We had a big year ahead of us.
"Let's get married on New Years at midnight," he said mindlessly.
"That's when I was originally going to propose," I laughed. "So let's do it!"
"Really? Are you sure? It's only five days away."
"Yes I'm sure. We'll call all of our friends and invite them. Tell them we're having a party. We'll surprise them all!" I thought out loud.
"Good idea!" he smiled against my neck.
We called everyone and told them to come to the house on New Years. They all agreed happily.

"I can't wait. You're officially mine in five days," he sighed as he rolled onto his back.
"I know. I'm excited too." I turned to face him, admiring his beauty.
I don't know what it is but there's something about him that makes me want to look at him all day, especially now when he's naked.
His eyes were shut, and his mouth was open; his breathing slowed.
I smiled and curled up beside him.
