Volleyball

~~~~Amber's POV~~~~

Ever since I became friends with Lucy I have been in all her classes it's kinda weird but I don't complain about it. Me and Lucy were talking before class started and all she could talk about was her family tree and how it was so weird she couldn't find herself, then she started asking me if I thought she was adopted all I said was "It's a possibility. But I'm sure that if you were your parents would have told you, you probably get your Brown hair and Blue eyes from a Great Great Grandparent or something." "I'm gonna ask my mom about it after school. You coming over today?" she asked "Is that even a question?" I asked her since I know she already knew the answer.

~~~~Lucy's POV~~~~

Amber think's I get my hair and eye color from a Great Great Grandparent or something. But I don't believe it, I don't know what to think anmore. I'm gonna have to talk to my parents tonight when both of them get home. Being the funny person I am I asked Amber if she was coming over today after school, I already knew the answer so I don't really know why I asked. I guess this whole family tree thing has gotten me all wacked up, but I just wanna know where I come from. After school me and Amber went straight to my house since we didn't have to pick up Matt, Baseball tryout's started today I hope he makes the team he loves Baseball. Me and Amber are both on the Volleyball team for the school we have practice tonight at 4:30 and our 2nd game of the season tomorrow after school. We've been playing since 7th grade, I also play Softball. I like Softball a little better then Volleyball but I'm better at Volleyball, the only reason I've stuck with Volleyball all these years is 1 Amber wanted me to stay with it and 2 after 7th grade the coaches thought I was one of the best players and wanted to keep me on the team, so basically I already had a spot on the team at try out's so iI just went around and helped the other girls with serving and stuff since i technically didn't have to try out.

After school finally ended me and Lucy walked to her house. We did what we always do, we didn't have any homework so we just kept watching videos on YouTube of Magcon and Shawn Mendes singing and Jack & Jack singing. We were watching a Vine Compilation of Hayes, Nash, and Skylynn. We were talking about how adorable Skylynn was and how amazing Nash and Hayes' eyes were. When I looked behind us and found Laura, she had a look on her face that I can't really describe, it was kinda weird. " Oh hey Laura, we didn't hear you come in" I said. "Oh sorry, I just got here. Are you guys ready for practice?" she asked. "Oh crap, what time is it I completly forgot about that." Lucy said "It's only 4:10 but I didn't know if Amber had to go home and change" Laura said. "I'm just gonna borrow some shorts and a shirt from Lucy" I said. "Oh ok you guys have about 10 minutes before we need to leave so you should probably start getting dressed and stuff" Laura said. "Alright mom we're just gonna finish this video then we will" Lucy said. "ok" Laura replied.

~~~~Lucy's POV~~~~

Me and Amber were sitting on the couch watching our usual videos, when Amber looked behind us and saw my mom. She asked if we were ready for practice, I totally forgot we had practice tonight. We finished our video a couple minutes later and headed up to my room to get dressed for practice and do  our hair in a high pony. When we were done getting ready me and Amber decided to jog to practice to warm up a little before. My mom said she would pick us up after practice, then get us something to eat and drop Amber off at her house. We started to leave and my mom had to pick Matt up from try out's so she left too. "I'll race ya!" I yelled to Amber "It's on" she yelled back "3, 2, 1 GO!" We yelled at the same time, and took off running. After a few minutes we had to stop cause we had to cross the road. When it was all clear we started running again, we got to the school about 3 minutes later. I won, Amber was right behind me though. We got to practice a little early so we went inside and waited for some of the other girls on the team to show up. Once the girls start coming in the locker room for practice me and Amber and some other girls start running our laps around the gym that we have to do every day at practice, then start tossing the ball around waiting for the rest of the girls so coah can tell us what to do. When all the girls are finally in the gym we get started, we were told to find a partner, obviously me and Amber are partners, and work on bumping and setting.
