Who Are My Parents?

~~~~Robert's POV~~~~

Lucy asked me and Laura if she was adopted, Laura told her she was. Lucy seemed angry but was also crying so I don't know what she is feeling right now. "When exactly were you planning on telling me?" Lucy asked half yelling half whispering so Matt wouldn't hear. "Well we hadn't put much thought into it, I guess when we felt you were ready." we sat in silence for a few minutes. I tried to get Laura to settle down, she finally did after about a minute.

How could my parents keep this from me. Is all I could think, after a couple minutes I finally spoke up "So do you know who my biological parents are?" I asked a little too anxious. "We will look tonight at your adoption papers, they are in a special spot so they don't get ruined. We will give them to you after school tomorrow, maybe you could look up your parents or something when we give you your papers" my mom said faking a smile. "Okay" I said. Right after i said that Matt came into the kitchen. "What do you think your doing mister?" My dad asked Matt. "Getting a snack" Matt replied "I don't think so mister, it's 10:30 also known as bed time" My mom said with the biggest fake smile I have ever seen. "I'm gonna go brush my teeth" I said acting like nothing had happened. "Ok sweetie I'll be in in a minute to say goodnight." my mom said. "Ok" I replied. Since me and Matt shared a bathroom Matt ran to the bathroom so I had to wait till he was done getting ready for bed...15 minutes later Matt comes out of the bathroom. "Oh my god Matt what were you doing in there, you were in there for like 15 minutes." I said angrily. "I was getting ready for bed" Matt retorted "It took you 15 minutes to get ready for bed?!?!?!?!?!?! Seriously" I asked as Matt walked to his room. He was in his room before I got to hear his answer. After I brushed my teeth and got ready for bed I went downstairs to say goodnight to my mom and dad. "Night mom, Night dad." I said while hugging them. "Night sweetie" they said in unison. With that I went to bed wondering who my parents were.
