Before You

I was watering my plants when suddenly the sky started to get dark. Inangat ko ang ulo para pagmasdan ang pag galaw ng mga ulap na sumasabay sa hangin. Napansin ko na medyo lumalabas na ang buwan kahit hindi pa gaanong bumababa ang araw. What a pretty view.

"Cia! Pumasok ka na dito parang uulan na!" sigaw ni manang.

"Okay po!" sagot ko.

Pumasok ako at dumiretso sa kwarto para ayusin ang isusuot ko bukas. Two of my works will be put up on an art gallery, so I have no choice but to attend. The event planner had already explained the process on how the event will go from viewing the masterpieces, to the bidding, then to the after party. 

"This one kaya?" bulong ko sa sarili ko. 

The first dress was a black silk one, may maliit siya na slit sa gilit ng hita which is very sexy. The second one is a white dress, knee length siya pero body hugging like the black one. The third  was a little longer and less skin revealing. I think i'll go with the first dress.

"Shit, i'm going to be late," bulong ko nang isuot ko na ang heels ko.

Nagising ako ng maaga pero nakatulog ulit ako kaya noong nagising ulit ako ay nagmadali akong maligo, I even had to use the highest number in my blow dryer para lang mabilis na matuyo ang buhok ko dahil ikukulot ko pa ng kaunti. Bumaba na ako nang matapos at hinalikan ang pisngi ni Mommy at Daddy dahil aalis na. 

"Are you late?" sigaw ni Dad.

"Almost!" sigaw ko pabalik bago pumunta sa garahe para sumakay na sa kotse ko. 

I turned the engine on and drove away. Mabuti na lang at hindi ganoon kalayo ang venue sa bahay kaya nakarating pa ako, five minutes early pa nga. Feeling ko ay haggard na ako sa sobrang pagmamadali ko kaya pumunta muna ako ng cr para mag retouch ng kaunti. After that I went inside and saw Mr. Hiraya, the planner of this event and also the owner of the venue. He walked up to me with a warm smile and shooked my hand.

"Ms. Acosta! Looking so gorgeous!" I chuckled before playfully slapping his shoulder.

"Binola mo pa talaga ako, sir!" at tumawa siya 'don.

I met Mr. Hiraya 3 years ago, agad din kaming naging close dahil friendly siyang tao. He also has a girlfriend for almost two years now and I love her! Sobrang bait na at sobrang ganda pa! 

He guided me further inside the place, may nakita akong red curtain at doon kami dumiretso. Soft music was blasting like you've just entered heaven. Looks like this will be an interesting event... ang daming tao.

"Cia!" my smile grew wider when I saw Anissa, Mr. Hiraya's girlfriend.

"Ani! How are you?" bati ko kaagad sa kaniya nang matapos siyang yakapin.

"I'll leave you guys to talk, mag-iikot lang muna ako." sabi ni Mr.Hiraya at sabay kaming tumango ni Anissa.
