In an attempt to protect her, Sebastian had to live with Zirconia in the barn until a her commander comes back to retrieve her. She believed that her fleet will return to Earth so they can start magnifying locations that can be suitable for gem production. Zirconia explained to Sebastian the origins and purpose of their kind on Earth which gave him the chills he didn't expect to feel considering that at a time like this they're being invaded by Aliens.
The rays of the sun was breaching the barn, it touched Sebastian's face which woke up him up to start the day. He was laying down a hay bale, he looked around but he cannot find Zirconia in the Barn. He went outside to look for her, as he was opening the door, he saw the farm in the daylight, there was a path that connected the barn to a an abandoned house and a field of cornfields. He was mesmerized by the view, he remembered when he was a child back then when he lived with his parents on the country side enjoying the fresh air that cultivated their land with green grassfields.
As he was walking outside he called out to Zirconia, 'Zircon! Zircon!' he cried, he turned his head left and right as he was walking this path, suddenly as he went by the cornfield he heard a "moo" of a cow, he immediately walked the field and at the very end he saw the abandoned house and beside it was wooden fences that guarded cows. This group of cows and calfs moved aside when on the other side he saw was Zirconia observing them intently as if the cows we're really unpredictable. He went close to Zirconia the moment he saw her, 'Hey, Good morning, what's up? Do you like the cows?' he asked Zirconia, 'Oh greetings Sebastian,' she greeted cheerfully, 'What are cows?...Oh are they cows?' she curiously stated, 'Yes,' he answered, he pointed at each cow saying, 'You see those small cows? They're called calf' Zirconia scratched head head asking, 'So are they different from each other?' Sebastian scratched his head as well and explained, 'Uh-yeah but, you see they're the same kind but these calves are not fully grown cows, therefore they're baby cows' Zirconia showed an expression of enlightenment and asked, 'Oh I understand, but how about you Sebastian?' Sebastian wondered and Zirconia continued asking, 'Are you a baby?' Sebastian blushed with his eyes enlarging from the question he just heard from Zirconia, she noticed this and got worried, she asked, 'You're turning red, are you alright? Did I do something wrong?' Sebastian shook his head disagreeing and replied, 'N-no, I'm alright, I-I just, I mean-I, What are we talking about again?' scratching his head he asked, 'I'm thinking does human change color?,' she curiously asked, 'Uhm, yea- I guess by the expression they portray, on how they feel, but Humans really have different colors, like me, I'm white, but other humans or should I say humans that live in an environment that does not equate to my location is sometimes black or kayumanggi, ' he explained, 'These group people are called races, but when categorized as humans that pertains to our species,' he added, 'Oh, so are humans ranked by this colors?' she asked, Sebastian looked far from the distance and Zirconia wondered where he was looking and he heard him saying, 'You know, humans are really complicated beings, even I also wonder how they handle this type of system where being a different color deserves to be mistreated or even misconceptualized as something discouraging leading them to inequity,' he sighed, and added, 'I wish this war would end.' This made Zirconia realize that humans are capable of understanding the felt of being mistreated she felt an emotional connection with Sebastian, she pat Sebastian's back this made him look at Zirconia where as she was looking farther the skies. 'You know being a gem, you weren't always allowed to do what you really want to do, you're always going to be the one who's only purpose is to do as your name is...' she said, '...as a Zirconia, you're only made to serve the elite gems and prioritize their intentions as ordered to you to be able to grasp that ranking,' she added, and she looked at Sebastian stating 'I never thought a human being will be capable of understanding how I feel,' they looked at each other and Sebastian hugged her, this made her feel more welcomed.
Their connection between each other's differences made their relationship more stronger than usual. They began bonding with each other, from playing with the cows, understanding each others feelings every night, how plants grow, appreciating the beauty of Earth and how each of their world works, they even made a call sign which Zirconia adapted from Sebastian which was the thumb hand gesture. Zirconia opened her heart to Earth, she wanted to be someone else, she wanted to live with human beings. Until one day, the day began to fade, they were by the river looking at the sunset, she told Sebastian, 'If they never comeback for me, I guess I'll stay here,' Sebastian smiled and said, 'Zircon, be who you want to be, I know how it likes to be mistreated in a position you never really wanted to be...' Zironia's eyes were looking through Sebastian's and he held her hands saying, '...stay here on Earth, with me.' As the Sun disappeared from the skies they kissed each other and the stars came to shine the skies. It was a just like in the fairytales, you will meet someone who you'll never expect, love him or her and live a happy ending, but that wasn't the case for the two to pursue each other when suddenly the bushes behind them started brushing and this interrupted them both. They looked around them cautiously when out of the bushes came General Chap together with his soldiers surrounding them with their guns pointing at them. This made the two stand up from where they were sitting and began defending each other.
