Chapter 9: The Precious Diamond

As the invasion was taking place, Dylan was with Jade facing Zirconia on a grassfield where Dylan used to read his book. Zirconia stated 'So not giving up that easily huh? So you turned against your kind? How unsual, Don't you see what's happening Jade? He's going to use you once again just like me, and then turn his back on you like other humans usually do,' Dylan replied, 'I'm not my Father!' Zirconia laughed saying, 'You can't fool me Sebastian, after years of being an elite gem I've proven that I can reassemble my fleet and avenge my commander,' Jade replied saying, 'He isn't what you think he is! He is not Sebastian,' Zirconia disgust Jade saying, 'You've been fooled! Wake up Jade, this isn't going to last long, so this how you wanted be huh? Lemme show you how I've really changed,' she quickly run towards Dylan aiming to kill him but was drifted by the waves Jade produced, Zirconia hit the ground which made her more angry, Jade quickly grabbed Dylan and flew to the village, they hid beside a house and took cover, 'So what's our plan? She won't stop until you're dead,' Jade said, 'Let me talk to her,' Dylan replied, 'What! No! You're risking yourself just to persuade her, she didn't even thought of you as not your father,' Jade disagreed, 'But I know she's still human inside, my father might have made the wrong decision but maybe I can change that, maybe I can save her,' Dylan persuaded Jade, 'Dylan?' Jade said in a worried tone, 'Don't worry, I'll be fine, just let me talk to her,' Dylan told Jade. As the two hid in the village, Zirconia rose and rushed through the village she destroyed everything in her path, until she saw Dylan standing all alone, 'There you are!' Zirconia said, she dashed through the air towards Dylan as this was Dylan smiled and did a thumb hand gesture which made Zirconia halt from her attack, she remembered their memories together but shook her head and attempted to slash Dylan. Suddenly out of nowhere Jade was in front of Zirconia with her eyes looking directly at her, Zirconia looked behind and saw Dylan laying on the ground shocked, she looked at Jade and saw that she slashed through her, 'You'd hurt a fellow gem,' Jade said, then it poofed her from her physical form which stopped Zirconia, 'I-I didn't I,' Dylan started crying dropping his book to the ground and grabbing Jade's gem, 'No! Jade!' Dylan cried, Zirconia saw Dylan's sincerity and she knelt on her knees, rain started to pour out of the skies which made Zirconia look up and look down to a puddle that was formed, she saw her reflection and said to herself, 'What have I become,' she saw across the land, the machines that were destroying life. She came closer to Dylan and said, 'Sebastian?' and Dylan replied crying saying, 'I'm not my Father! I'm Dylan! His Calf! His Son!' This made Zirconia display an expression of regret and humility, 'W-where's Sebastian?' she asked, 'He's long dead, he left me and my mother,' he sniffed while tearing out, 'He said he wanted you to have this,' Dylan added, Zirconia read the journal and that made her shed tears and regret the damage she's done to the village, 'I'm sorry Dylan,' she said, 'I thought you wanted to avenge your kind, but this isn't right, you even killed Jade,' Dylan cried, 'Don't worry, I understand now, It will take her a long time to be back, she took a direct hit from me, and I hope she does not forget who she was, I'm sorry,' Zirconia said.

The invasion was put to an end by Zirconia when she realized everything she had to know, she regret damaging the village and putting the people in danger. As the people return before she left, she was accompanied by her team to reassemble the village and add more technology to it, they also reopened the Dockwoods and provided a better ecosystem for the animals by planting more trees. These actions made the land of Cheshma better than it was before, Zirconia left Earth with a remark that Earth will be a safer place for humans and gems alike and provide other colonies information to prevent disruption of the planet.

The rays of the sun was touching each living thing on a grassfield. The fresh breeze was cool and the trees we're dancing during the harmony of this moment. Dylan was laying down the grass with Cory appreciating the breeze while looking up the skies. They both gazed across the field, and as they were looking, he noticed his mother outside their home looking for them, he knelt as he pet his dog on the head. As they went home, Cory went to the kitchen to wait for lunch, as for Dylan he went upstairs his room to find Jade's gem laying down his bed on a pillow. He smiled and sat beside it and said 'I wish you would be able to enjoy this moment with me,' suddenly Jade's gem rose to the air and a body of light reformed Jade's physical form, she also sat on the bed and was looking around wondering, 'Where am I?' Dylan was surprised so he hugged Dylan and told her, 'Jade your back!' Jade was clueless she said, 'Oh what a kind organic aren't you?' Dylan was stopped he looked at Jade saying, 'Don't you remember anything? It's me Dylan, your human friend,' Jade was wondering, 'Greetings Dylan,' Dylan started shedding tears but was smiling, he wiped his tears and told Jade, 'Atleast your here and we're able to see each other again, we'll make more memories than what we had before,' he stood and went to the door, she smiled at Dylan and he waved his head towards the door saying, 'C'mon let's have Lunch.'
