Chapter 4: Rin Awakening
20XX.4.12 Early Morning
You changed your school uniform to get ready. You look from the window and noticed the rain pouring. You grabbed your school bag and headed to the station with your brother.
While waiting for the train, you hear someone whispering beside you.
“Look, isn’t that her?” A ponytailed student said.
'Her?’ You followed her gaze and saw a red haired girl with a ribbon just a few meters in front of you.
“You mean that one with the red ribbon?” Her friend replied. “Uh, I guess so?”
“She’s so thin…” The ponytailed student says with a sigh. “It’s not fair, I’ve got my hair in a ponytail too.”
“Okay, and what’s that got to do with being thin?”
You hear as the train finally arrives and you all get on. As usual, the train is full of people. You’re standing beside the holding pole with your brother beside you.
The red haired girl is in front of you. She stands up suddenly. “Please take my seat.” She offered her seat to an old woman in front of her. “My station’s coming up.”
“Are you sure? Then..” The old woman accepts, but when she’s about to sit, a man in a suit suddenly takes the seat.
“Oh wow, what speed!” The red haired girl comments, also not believing it. “I mean,excuse me,that seat was for this lady.”
The man ignores her and continues to sleep.
“Oh…” She’s looking at the both of us.
“Want me to wake him up?” Ren-nii asked.
“It’s all right. I can understand his position as well.”
“But he's just pretending to sleep.” You say.
The red haired girl giggles. “ It’s okay.” She turned to the old woman again. “I’m sorry I couldn’t be any help.”
“It’s all right, dearie. Don’t you worry” The old woman reassured her.
“Please allow me to carry your luggage, at least.” She takes a hold of the women's luggage.
“Ain’t it heavy, though?”
“Not at all! I train plenty.” She said.
'What a nice girl.’ You thought as the train arrived at the station. You two get off.
“Pardon me.” You two hear a voice behind you. You turn to see a previous red haired girl approaching you. ”Thank you so much for earlier.” She bowed to us.She wears a Shujin Academy uniform with black pantyhose and red loafers.
