"This is gonna be so fuckin' easy." Jungkook looked over the balls in the middle of the gym to see which one he'd go for first. The game was about to start and excitement was an understatement for the football player. The male loved the way that people would do their best to avoid his throws and fail miserably. He felt powerful.
Namjoon, on the other hand, hated playing dodgeball. He didn't get why people would beg to be on their team. Maybe because Jungkook was too aggressive for his own good. Or maybe it was Yoongi's quick feet and good dodging skills. He knew that people thought the football team would win without even trying but it still made him feel pressured. All he wanted to do was get it over with. Whether he tried to or not he knew their team would have no chance of losing especially not when almost everyone in the school was afraid of them.
Namjoon glanced over at each of the other team while nervously biting his lip. His eyes landed on Hoseok who seemed to have an annoyed look on his face. Why isn't he on my team? Namjoon questioned before being nudged by Yoongi who seemed to take notice of the boys staring.
"What's up with you and those drama kids today? Snap out of it man you got more important things to be worrying about, okay?" This time Yoongi looked genuinely upset. Namjoon didn't know why he was being so hard on him today but didn't get the chance to ponder it much since the game was starting.
"Alright, ready set and go!"
As soon as the game started Namjoon was practically sprinting to grab one of the balls. He looked around to see that their team was already dominating. They had taken out three people and the game had just begun. Namjoon even took out a few people as well. He soon saw one of the balls flying towards Jungkook who was paying no attention to his surroundings as he pummeled another one of his peers. Being the good friend Joon was, he yanked the boy out of the way, almost making both of them stumble.
"What the fuck? Who the hell was that I'm gonna kill em!" Jungkook looked as if he had a new burst of energy inside of him as he snatched a ball out of a poor girl's hands.
Usually Namjoon wouldn't stop Jungkook from unleashing his wrath since it was good practice for games as their coach liked to put it. But as soon as he saw who it was his heart dropped. It dropped even further when he saw who was running towards the male to presumably save him from his impending doom.
"Shit, Jungkook! No!" Namjoon yelled as he tried to stop him but it was too late. The ball was already sent flying and Hoseok was knocked right in his face.

Hoseok woke up in a bright white room with a bright light shining almost directly in his eyes.
"Mr. Jung please follow the light with your eyes." A soft voice said as the light moved.
He hesitantly did as he was told and followed the light, looking left to right and up and down. He felt a bit woozy and could barely remember what happened. The last thing he was for sure of was attempting to save Jin from a face full of ball. Everything else was just a big blur of nothing.
"Am I dead?" The boy asked sincerely which only gained him a few laughs. Luckily the bright light went away and he could finally gather his surroundings.
He was in a small plastic bed with a small curtain surrounding it. A lady with a tight bun in her hair wore a white coat. She stood next to him with a look of concern before turning around and opening the curtain. It revealed three things that were all equally surprising. 1. Jin who was pacing back and forth and biting his nails nervously 2. Namjoon, who sat in a plastic chair with a look of guilt plastered all over his face. What the heck is he doing here? And 3. A small nurses office. So I guess I'm not dead, huh.
