New Start

Sister

                 Well we have three days to do whatever. "So what do you want to do?" I ask her and look over and find asleep. I drive her home and pick her up princess style and walk into my house. I carry her up the stairs and lay her on my bed. She shifts around and I lay down next to her and pull her to me. She rests her head on me and I see her smile. I kiss her forehead and rub her arm. Smith calls me and I remember he is still at school. "Tess?" I whisper and shake her slowly. She turns but soon she slowly opens her eyes. "Hmm?" She asks and looks at me. "I have to go get Smith do you wanna come?" She nods and we walk out to the car.

We arrive at Smith's school and he is standing on the sidewalk. He walks over to us and gets in. "Where were you? School ended like 15 minutes ago." He says and I look at him then at Tessa. I give her a look asking if I could tell him she nods. "Okay well one of Tessa's old friends hurt her so today at school she beat her up and then another old friend of hers came over and insulted her so I gave him a warning, and no I didn't hurt him." I say and he looks at me. "That's good you did not punch someone yet, And that also doesn't explain why your home and not at school." He says and smiles at me. "Tessa and I got suspended." I say and drive home. "For how long?" Smith questions and looks at Tessa. "3 days and why are you looking at my girl?" I ask and he lets out a little chuckle. "Because Hardin I like her she treats me like you should, AND she says 'I love you' and she isn't even related to me." He says and looks away, Tessa has a smile and she grabs my hand. I know he doesn't like her in the way I do, And he is right I never say 'I love you' unless it's Tess. "Okay" We walk inside and Smith goes to his room. "Is it okay if I have my sister over? Like tomorrow and Wednesday?" She asks. I don't know why because she lives here too. She hasn't seen her sister since she was 10 and I don't give a shit what Tessa does with her family. "Yes baby you live here as well" I say and kiss her on the lips. "What should we do?" I ask and she smiles. "I'm going to call her and tell her the plans but after can we watch finding Nemo?" She has the biggest smile on her face. "Of course" I respond and she squeals. 

*Tessa POV*

I leave our room and call my sister. She answers on the second ring

"Hello?" She says into the line, I start to cry. I miss her.

"Hi!" I try and sound happy but my voice betrays me.

"Oh are you okay?!" She sounds concerned.

"Yes i'm fine I just miss you. But Hardin said you can come over tomorrow. What time would work for you?" I ask and she lets out a squeal.

"YAY! Umm... How about 12? Or is that too early? I know how you like your beauty sleep." She is not wrong. I love sleeping but I really wanna see her.

"No that's good, also you're spending the night so bring some stuff. Love you" I say and we say goodbye. I can't wait till tomorrow. I walk back into my room and Hardin has already got the movie set up.

"Ready?" He asks and I sit on his bed. "Almost" I grab his phone and run to Smith's room where he is watching TV. "What?" He asks and looks at me. "Want any food from the Chinese place?" I rush out and he smiles. "Yes! What I always get!" He says and we both run to the bathroom before Hardin can catch us. I run in behind him and close the door and lock it. "THERESA!" Hardin yells banging in the door. I giggle and look up the menu. "OPEN THE DOOR" He is still banging on it. "Should we get him something?" I look at Smith and ask him. His smile grows and he nods. "Oh baby want anything from the Chinese place?" I ask and the banging stops. "Yes please" He says so I can barely hear. "WHAT!?" I yell and me and Smith laugh. "Open. The. Door" He says real clear. I stand up and unlock the door. He pushes it open and grabs me by the waist and throws me over his shoulder. "Put me down!" I hit his back and kicked my feet. "No" He says and dials the number. He orders our food then hangs up. "Smith help me" I whisper and he nods. "Don't even try little man" Hardin says when Smith walks over to him. I put my hand in his hair and pull at it. He relaxes and I jump out of his arms. "Ha I win" I say and he kisses me. Smith looks like he wants to cry. "What?" I look at him and ask. "You two need to do that where I'm not." I ask and he walks back to his room. Hardin looks at me and laughs. "What?" I look at him and he laughs harder. "Your face to his reaction was so cute. You were fine then he said that and your face went red." He says and laughs I hit him and cover my face. "Aww I someone embarrassed?" He looks at me and I push his chest and go up to our room. I close it and sit on the bed. "Tess?" He asks and opens the door. I look away. "Tessa" He says my name and I feel a lump in my throat. I don't know why this bothers me so much. I know he was making his joke, But with Smith seeing us kiss and Hardin making fun of my embarrassment. It's too much. "Just nevermind Hardin." I say in a voice so small I can barely hear it. "Look I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you upset" He speaks then his voice gets softer. "I am sorry Tess, Can you forgive me?" He looks at me and his green eyes burn holes in my heart. "Of course" I say as I run into his arms. He wraps his arms around my back and holds me tighter than ever before, I love him. He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. "Love you" He whispers into my ear and my stomach fills with butterflies.

The doorbell rings and Hardin stands up. "Wait here," He says and I stand still with the police at speed dial. He comes back a little later with the food. "Do you want Smith in here?" He asks me and I nod. I love how Smith is just like my little brother. I would do anything for him. Hardin leaves and comes back with Smith. We sit there and eat. Hardin ends up dropping his food on the bed and we all laugh. Smith ends up leaving around 12. Me and Hardin joke and laugh about dory and how stupid she is. I think she acts like Hardin. He disagrees but I think its cute that he gets annoyed.
