New Start

The first glace!

*Tessa's POV*

When I wake up I am lying on Hardin's chest. I try to get up without waking him up. I lift my body off of his and he rolls on top of me. He pins me to the bed. I smile and massage his scalp. His eyes flutter open.

"Good evening" I say and smile, He gives me a small look and I laugh. I crawl over him and he grabs my waist. "where are you going?" He asks and kisses me. "To pee or I can go pee on you" I smile. He lets go of me and I run to the bathroom. I hear a knock at the front door and go see who it is. "HEY!" Hardin's voice booms from behind me. I turn and look at him and he pulls me behind him. He walks to the door and opens it. What I see next scares me. I drop my cup of water and it shatters.

(The reaction.)

*Hardin's POV*

I see a tall blonde man and a short woman. I hear Tessa drop her water. The boy walks past me and slaps Tessa. She falls to the ground. She sits there and cries. I walk over to him and push him.

"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU?" I ask them and pick Tessa up and hold her.

"I'm Gavin, Tessa's ex boyfriend." He smirks and I punch him. I can only see red and black. He hurt Tessa, Her mum is kicking her. Smith comes out and calls the police. They show up in less than 15 minutes. They take Gavin and her mum in cuffs. Smith is crying. Tessa is crying. I thank the police and they leave. I hug my family and go to my room.

Smith sits down and I cuddle him. Tessa changes into my sweat pants and my T-shirt. She walks over to us and hugs Smith. I smile and Smith falls asleep. I let him stay because I don't want him to be scared. Tessa falls asleep holding him. I lay on the floor because my bed is full. I fall asleep.

I wake up to screaming, Tessa. I stand up and shake her. Smith is sitting there looking at me. Tessa's eyes fly open and she cries into my chest. Smith comes closer and hugs Tessa. I smile and hug her. Smith says he's going to sleep in his room. I hug him goodnight. He walks out of my room and I hear the door close. I walk back to Tessa. She is sitting there crying, I walk over to her and hug her. She cries for a while. I turn the TV on for us and hand her the clicker. She puts on a cooking show. She looks at my bored expression. "What?" She asks.

"Nothing" I look at her and smile. She returns one back to me. She looks so beautiful. God I love her, I love her so much. She looks back to the TV, I stare at her and she laughs at the girl who burned the cake. She makes me so happy, I hope she stops having dreams about her past and that I make her happy. I just want to marry her. I know I've only known her for a week or so, But I love her. With everything and anything. I will die for this girl. She looks at me. "Why do you keep looking at me? Is something wrong? Do I look that bad?" She says and covers her face. I look at her and she frowns and looks away. 'What?! No baby, You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I was just thinking about you, How beautiful you are, Your Independent,strong, I would die for you." I say and hug her. She smiles and cuddles closer to me. "I Love you" I whisper in her ear. She smiles and lays down and falls asleep. I check the time. It's 2 in the morning. I shut off the TV and go to sleep.
