This is perfect, I can finally wind down. You thought to yourself, gently leaning back onto the wood that's pressed onto your back that's supporting your weight. You closed your eyes, paying no attention to the people that are surrounded around you.
You were sitting on a wooden, yet sturdy bench, that was in the middle of the scenery that surrounded you. Everything from the colorful plants and trees that reached into the sky that left a heady scent that you adored, to the playful birds that sang tunes that release the stress that clogs up in your mind, creating a false reality of you and the birds being alone in a peaceful paradise. The birds' whistles slowly start to guide you out of consciousness, leading you deeper into your dream paradise. That short comforting paradise feeling didn't last long as the man in front standing in front of you disturbed your daydream.
"Hallo! I'm the awesome Gilbert! I want you to meet my little brother, so stay here alright?" He shouted at you. Your eyes opened rapidly as soon as the man's shouting rang through your ears, but before you were able to react to the strange man's request, he bolted the other direction. You debated on closing your eyes again, but your curiosity kept biting at you to tell you to wait for Gilbert.
Gilbert eventually came back, yet he brought along another man who you assumed was his younger brother. The man had neaty slicked back hair, yet the thing that really caught your attention was his eyes. His eyes were like an ocean. They appear to be a light icy blue color on the surface yet under that surface they were like the floors of the ocean, deep and almost like a midnight blue hue. This combination created such alluring eyes, which is exactly what this man had, and you were immediately drawn to him.
"Ludwig! This is... um..." Gilbert stared blankly at you, realizing he never got the chance to ask for your name.
"I'm y/n."
"Ludwig, this is y/n!" He shoved the male closer to you, whose assumed name is Ludwig. A slight tint of red burnt up on your cheek, as you weren't even expecting Gilbert to bring such an attractive man, nevertheless have the man stand so close to you. "Have fun meeting each other!" Gilbert smirked, his eyes mostly focused on Ludwig. Gilbert laughed loudly once he noticed Ludwig's cheeks starting to flush into a bright, pink hue. Gilbert teased Ludwig one more time, until he walked away, making Ludwig sigh in relief.
"Mein gott. I'm so sorry for my brother." Ludwig mumbled anxiously, taking a step back away from you.
"Oh it's alright!" You responded, scotting yourself to the other side of the bench where the wooden arm rest is. You gently tapped the empty space beside you, using hand gestures to convince him to sit down. He sat down beside you, obviously wary of sitting too close to a stranger. You couldn't help but notice an intense feeling of the butterflies in your stomach, flapping their wings to your heartbeat that feels like it's increasing every minute you're with Ludwig. Soon later you both started to feel comfortable with each other, and yours and Ludwig's anxiety was put at ease. You had deep conversations with Ludwig about various different topics such as dogs, foods, and many more to list.
As soon as you noticed golden rays starting to illuminate through the many branches of trees and plants, you lifted your head to look up and glanced at the sky. The sky appeared to be filled with red and yellow clouds, which are quickly spreading across the last light of day as the sun is slowly starting to fade. Ludwig looked absolutely beautiful when the rays glossed his perfectly structured face and fine muscular build, which also made his crystal eyes much more mesmerizing than they were before. You weren't the type to fall in love in first sight, yet Ludwig was an exception.
"Do you have a phone number?" You asked, your lips parting into a delightful smile. He nodded and gave you his number, which you cautiously typed each number into your phone. You decided it was time to leave, which left you feeling a bit dejected knowing that you couldn't stay here and talk to Ludwig forever. You had dogs to feed and dinner to make, but at least you have his number so you can talk to him anytime. You said your goodbyes to Ludwig but just as you started to lift yourself off of the bench, Gilbert popped out from the back of the bench making you jump a little and shriek. Gilberted bursted out in laughter then turned to Ludwig.
"Did you get her number?"
"Ja! I did! Now go!" Ludwig commanded, giving his brother a cold glare. "Hell ja! I'm proud bruder!" Gilbert said proudly, dusting off the dirt from his jeans and giving Ludwig a pat on his back. You chuckled at their interactions, and noticed that Ludwig still looked extremely flustered as a light red hue was spread across his face. You said your goodbyes to Ludwig and Gilbert once again and finally traveled back home, still thinking about Ludwig.
Every interaction with him made your heart feel like it stopped beating. You felt like every expression that formed on his face and word that slipped out of his mouth just made your feelings much more intense about him. "Why am i so attracted to him already?" Is the question that kept lingering your mind, yet you just can't find an answer to it.
