The next day, Hoseok finally opened his eyes to see Jimin lying on the hospital bed that was right beside him. Jimin was connected to bunch of machines that were supposed to help him get more oxygen after being drowned in the water.
Suddenly, the machines started giving sounds that sounded alarmingly.
Hoseok: !!! JIMIN!! JIMIN!!!!! SOMEBODY!!!! OVER HERE!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!
Hoseok was screaming his lungs out. The machines didn't stop.
Hoseok: JIMIN, PLEASE!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!! JIMIN, WAKE UP!!!!! JIMIN-!!
Due to a lot of stress, Hoseok had felt his heart beat fast that it hurt.
Hoseok: No...
Couple of staff members rushed in the room. Some focused on Jimin, since his state was critical, then they noticed Hoseok who's state was not good either.
Staff: Quick! Send more employees!!!
Hoseok (narrating): The nurses are asking me something, but I can't hear a thing. All I am focused on is Jimin and doctors trying to help him. What's going to happen to him...? My chest hurts like crazy. I don't even know of it's the drug effect or stress over Jimin. The image in my eyes is getting more and more blurry. I can't hear a thing... Jimin...
Staff: He's unconscious! Send more employees!
Just when Hoseok had fainted, Jimin had opened his eyes and started coughing due to having water in his body.
Staff: Sir, how are you feeling?
Jimin: I'm... I'm fine...
Some time later, Hoseok finally woke up himself.
Jimin: Hyung!!
Hoseok: J... Jimin...! Thank God..! Thank God you're fine...!
The elder was almost on the verge of tears of seeing Jimin sitting awake.
Jimin: I'm fine, hyung. How are you...?
Hoseok: I'm fine too, I guess... ... Jimin... How did we end up in the hospital?
Jimin: I don't even remember much... What happened?
Hoseok stayed silent for a mere second when his facial expression changed to a serious one.
Hoseok: Were you trying to drown yourself again?
Jimin: !.. I...
Hoseok: I saw you drowning again, Jimin. And all that after you told me to not repeat your "mistakes". And yet again, you are repeating your own actions!!
Jimin: ...
Hoseok: I found you drowning! You seemed almost dead!!!! WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?!!
Jimin: So, was it you who brought us here?
Hoseok: I-- ... No.. I wasn't.
Jimin: ...
Hoseok: I fainted when I saw you barely breathing... I overreacted, and-
Jimin: It was a drug effect, wasn't it, Hoseok?
Hoseok: ...
Jimin: And yet, you're the one lecturing me about drowning myself, when you, yourself, are killing yourself!
Hoseok: This has nothing to do with you!
Jimin: HOW CAN YOU EVEN SAY THAT?!! I AM A MEMBER AND YOUR FRIEND!! IT HAS EVERYTHING TO DO WITH ME!!!!
Hoseok was stunned by Jimin's reaction.
Hoseok: ...
Jimin: ...
Hoseok: I'm sorry...
Jimin: Me too...
Hoseok: Jimin, I can't-! I can't anymore!! When I think of Seokjin-hyung, I want for him to be here (or for me to be there with him), and then-- When I see you drowning, my heart races, and I can't handle the emotions of losing another friend. I start panicking... *starts shaking* And then I understand that I don't want to lose another member, or for any of you to lose me, but I just can't control myself...! I may pass out randomly because of my narcolepsy or because of the--
Jimin: Hyung. I don't drown on purpose. I simply do not control it either. It's like... fear... a nightmare. Every time I'm near water I feel like something is pulling me to it. I am scared but I can't stop. When I am in the water I feel someone dragging me deeper and deeper in the water. *starts shaking in fear* It's horrifying...! I'm scared!! Sure I was drowning myself at first on purpose, but not now! I don't want to drown to death! I don't want to!!! But the more I resist and try to get out, the more I'm drowning! In the end I just... give up.
Hoseok was stunned. He felt so bad for yelling at Jimin when he wasn't even controlling himself. He saw tears forming on the ends of Jimin's eyes after he stopped shaking.
Hoseok: Jimin, I... I'm so sorry... for accusing you... I thought you were doing it on purpose...
Jimin shook his head.
Hoseok: ...
Jimin: ... Who do you think... brought us here...?
As if reading Jimin's mind, a woman comes in the room.
Doctor: You have visitors.
