Once they returned a small ceremony in honor of Pietro was held.
3 DAYS LATER...
Alyssa and Steve walked down the hallway with intertwined hands with Thor and Tony.
"The rules have changed." Steve said to Thor.
"We're dealing with something new." Tony added in.
"Well, the Vision's an artificial intelligence." Steve stated back.
"A machine."
"So it doesn't count?"
"No. It's not like a person lifting the hammer."
"Right. Different rules for us." Steve gestured between Tony and him.
"Nice guy, but artificial." Tony shrugged.
"Thank you." Steve said pecking his girls hand quickly.
"If he can wield the hammer, he can keep the Mind Stone. It's safe with the Vision and these days, safe is in short supply." Thor interjected into the conversation.
"But if you put the hammer in an elevator..." Steve looked down still thinking.
"It would still go up." Tony finished for him.
"Elevator's not worthy." Steve shrugged his shoulders.
"I'm going to miss these little talks of ours." Thor laughed at the two.
"Well, not if you don't leave." Alyssa looked up at the Thor with a sad smile.
"I have no choice. The Mind Stone is the fourth of the Infinity Stones to show up in the last few years. That's not a coincidence. Someone has been playing an intricate game and has made pawns of us. But once all these pieces are in position..." Thor trailed off.
"Triple Yahtzee?"
"You think you can find out what's coming?" Steve asked Thor stopping on the lawn.
"I do. Besides this one, there's nothing that can't be explained." Thor nods his head before he returns off to Asgard leaving a burned circle in the grass he was standing on.
"That man has no regard for lawn maintenance. I'm gonna miss him though. And your both gonna miss me. There's gonna be a lot of manful tears." Tony said as they walk over towards Stark's car.
"I will miss you, Tony." Steve looked at Tony seriously.
" Yeah? Well, it's time for me to tap out. Maybe I should take a page out of Barton's book and build Pepper a farm, hope nobody blows it up." Tony says sarcastically.
"The simple life." Steve stops putting his arm around Alyssa pulling her closer.
"You guys will get there one day." Tony smiled down to his sister.
"I don't know, family, stability. The guy who wanted all that went in the ice seventy-five years ago. I think someone else came out." Steve looked down at Alyssa, "maybe I'll be ready for that again."
"You alright?" he looked at his sister before hugging her and kissing her head.
"I'm home." she smiled looking back at Steve.
"Don't let the Avengers go to shit." Tony looked at his sister before apologizing to Cap jokingly for cursing.
"I love you T." Alyssa smiled as he entered his car.
"I love you too sister." Tony said before pulling off.
"Cmon Captain, everyone's waiting." she grabbed his hand but he pulled her back quickly.
"I do want that simple life." he looked at seriously. She leaned up and kissed his lips with passion. She put her hands on his shoulders and Steve put his under her shirt pressing down on her bare skin.
"I love you Steve. Whenever you're ready, I'm ready." she looked him in his eyes.
"I love you too." Steve said holding her hand and walking to find Natasha. They found her staring at a wall.
"You want to keep staring at the wall, or do you want to go to work? I mean, it's a pretty interesting wall." Steve said sarcastically to Natasha.
"I thought you were busy watching Cap and Tony gaze into each other's eyes. How do we look?" Natasha said standing next to her friend and walking out with the tablet.
"Well, we're not the '27 Yankees." Steve said walking into the training room.
"We've got some hitters." Alyssa said to the two.
"They're good. They're not a team."
"Let's beat 'em into shape." Natasha smirked opening the door. They gather Rhodes in his War Machine suit, Sam in his Falcon suit, Wanda in a new suit, and Vision
"Avengers..." Steve yelled.
3 DAYS LATER...
"I'll be in my room... waiting... alone." Alyssa winked at Steve before kissing his cheek and walking out. Steve turned back to the people in the room.
"Have you proposed to her yet?" Sam asked Steve.
"Not yet. I was going to do it after Thor's party but Ultron happened." Steve shook his head.
"So when are you going to do it?" Natasha asked.
"Three days." Steve nodded his head.
"Did you get Tony's permission?" Rhodey asked.
"Two weeks before the party. I asked him and Pepper." Steve smiled.
"Well you should go. Ally's waiting." Wanda smirked pushing the man forward.
Steve walked to his room to see the girl in a sheer robe. Steve looked at her shocked.
"Lay down. We haven't completed an activity like this in a while." she smirked pushing him down to the bed. She took off her sheer robe.
"Yes ma'am." Steve said taking off his shirt. Alyssa leaned down and kissed the man. The two flipped around the rest of the night engulfed in their own sexual relations.
