Marie was holding Y/n's arm over her shoulder supporting her so she wouldn't put too much pressure on the leg that hurt the most. The injuries themselves didn't seem bad enough to take her to the hospital so the school nurse would have to do.
"Your a dumbass, you know that right?"
"I could've made my way to the nurse by myself but nooOOoo you insisted on taking me- who's going to pick up Steven now huh? It's almost bedtime for him and I didn't even get to cook dinner."
"I already called uncle F/n about it so he picked him up. I'm sure those two can survive eating a frozen dinner plate for tonight."
Y/n scoffed amused by the thought. She could have manged everything, all she did was fall and get up. Plus if they went home instead of cleaning up, she's sure she would be able to come up with some epic battle story to tell to her nephew.
Marie's eyes harden to a glare as she focused on her limping cousin. "When did you get it?"
"Get what? The injuries? That's a stupid question don't you think? We were just ambushed by villains." Y/n knew exactly what she meant but decided playing dumb was her best option right now.
"The quirk. I've know you for the longest time. I'm closer to you then I ever was with my own sisters so why didn't I know about this? Why didn't you tell me?"
If she could Y/n would reach over to touch her bag that was latched on to her back with the mask inside but her arms hurt too much so she settled for the strap across her chest.
"I didn't know how you would react. I wanted to tell you. I wanna tell you everything. Hell, sometimes I feel like telling the world how lucky I am to have such a thing."
'But it's not a quirk'
"But I have to be careful. I know what it does- well at the very least I have a good idea." You chuckled weakly. "It's powerful...I feel it every time I used it. Which was like three times now? I have tons of questions myself too. I want to know why I can't remember most of the things I do after using it?"
Marie looked at you surprised. "You don't remember the things you do? Like at all? Not even the police chase that literally just went down a few minutes ago? What kinda crappy quirk does that?"
You were overjoyed to know she was taking this so well. Of course it was debatable to think if you'd consider giving her the whole truth or just leave it as it is. So far only three people knew this half truth you were giving her.
PowerLoader, Bakugo, and now Marie.
Both of you were already at the nurse's doors hearing a voice as you opened them.
"Mark my words... They will become great heroes."
Despite being almost literally attached to the hip you leaned over to whisper. "I think we just ruined an deep moment."
"Well this is awkward."
The room looked like an nurse office would look like. It had a desk put out for the nurse and whoever would come to talk to her at the time. There were shelves with drawers, no doubt filled with every student's file. Two beds and curtains for those too injured to move or had the need to rest for a bit. A few chairs for waiting if the nurse was busy or had too many people.
Speaking of which, besides the two that just walked in, there was the detective, Izuku, an old lady Y/n was assuming was the nurse and a familiar yellow haired male.
