Y/n hated going to the doctor. Poking needles, check ups, and the constant reminder that her body was different than 80% of the population. She hated waiting for what seemed like hours for the doctor only to be talked to for a few seconds. Some of them harsh and grumpily working. She hated passing the children and parents as they fawn over the new shown quirks and its developments. Worst of all, she hates the emptiness of it, even when it's crowded. The white walls, the cold, the people sitting in the waiting rooms helplessly waiting for good news that may never come. If it were possible she'd never go again.

Unfortunately in her current conditions the police thought it best for her to go to a hospital instead of the school's infirmary. She shifted in the bed, looking at the bottom of her door. Shadow's of what? Two people? Standing guard. She sighed. She really wanted her bag. 'Marie should be here soon.'

She closed her eyes. 'Marie...she knows...well something. What am I supposed to do now?'

The door clicked. A familiar face peeking in. "Miss L/n, I heard you were quite the help in USJ." The detective smiles. "All Might sends his thanks."

"oh...yeah, just did what needed to be done I guess?" She shrugs. "How's Aizawa?"

His face fell slightly. "Both arms were smashed to splinters. His face is also fractured...thankfully, he doesn't have any brain damage. But his eye sockets have been pulverized.... There's a chance he may suffer long-term loss of vision or so I hear."

She didn't know what to say to that. "That thing must've done a number on him Huh?" She hardly remembers it but she knows that demon skullmonkey was tough. Too tough that she somehow was momentarily aware of her surroundings, panicking over not having the upper hand in the situation, quick to resorted to tricks to get her out.

"What about your injuries L/n? Quirk overuse?"

"I was teleported in the sky so I fell from high up. Doc said I'm in pretty bad shape but my body seems to be pretty resistant to give up. It's gonna take time to recover but they said a few trips to recovery girl outta help so there's that to look forward to." She leans into her pillow. "When is Marie coming?"

"I'm afraid she can't make it right now. Lots going on in the office considering how big of an attack this was." He opened his coat pulling out her bag. "She did want me to give you this."

'she doesn't want to see me' She frowns but takes the bag. Visibly relaxing after feeling the Mask in her hands again. "Bummer, what about my parents."

"U.A thought is was best for you to be left alone for awhile. A villain attack that grave can be overwhelming especially since I hear you were a target." He sat down in a chair nearby.

She got up quickly, holding her head from the sudden motion. "You didn't tell my parents I was targeted did you?"

"No, not even Marie knows, only me and the U.A hero staff." He looked at her surprised. "They did however seemed surprised that you had a quirk and held bravely on your own with it."

She looked away from him slightly. "Yeah well, I was surprised to at first."

"What did that villain want from you?" He sighed. He knew this was going to be hard. 'How can it not? Of course it was her rumiging the streets. Now that she's a bad guy's target she'll most likely be considered a victim. But turning her into a hero? She wasn't admitted into the school by her own will, not entirely. If she cracks...'

"It's the same guy that attacked me before, y'know when you first came? I think he's trying to kill me." She griped her bag a little. "Do you have a phone I can borrow? I gotta let my boss know I can't make it to work for a while."
