Everyone was at the starting line waiting on the signal to start.

Beep! One light goes off.

The first thing Y/n did was look around at the screens to see where each camera was pointing at. She can't just change in front of it like that. Then people would know and they'll try to take it.

Beep! The second light goes off.

'If I'm going to use it I need a blind spot. That'll be very hard with all these students here and that one camera that shows a bit of inside the tunnel. My best chance would be to wait for everyone to get out and change mid tunnel.'

Beep! The third and last light went off.

Y/n took a deep breath and placed her hand onto her side holding the mask so it wouldn't fall. This is it. Her only option was to jog so no one would get too suspicious.

"BEGIN!"

Everyone started running as if their lives depended on it. Push and shoving to be in the front.

"AND WE'RE OFF TO A RACING START!" From the booth high above the viewers benches President Mic turned to his grumpy friend from highschool. "How about some color commentary for me man?!"

Aizawa sighed as he looked at mic before focusing on his students out on the field. "How did you get me into this?"

"WHAT SHOULD WE BE PAYING ATTENTION TO IN THE EARLY STAGES OF THE RACE?!" Mic questioned.

"The doorway."

Even with the attempt to stay in the back Y/n was also pushed. She tried to look over the sea of students to get a glimpse of the other side. No one was out yet, everyone was jammed packed together.

"How are we supposed to go through a whole obstacle course when we can't even get through the damn door!"

Y/n focused on the walls before coming to a reason. "Unless this is the first obstacle..." She breathed out. Y/n's breath was literally showing in front of her confusing the girl. The temperature was dropping and ice frost was starting to form creeping onto the walls and Y/n shoes.

Big Ice spikes showed up covering up the way they came in completely as well as freezing contestants, greatly boosting his chances of winning.

"Apologies." Todoroki said unapologetically as he made his way passed everyone. With each step he took ice appeared beneath him so that those how do make it through would struggle moving on ice.

A good plan indeed on his part but he might have forgotten to include a few details about.

From the stamped Bakugo, Aoyama, Kirirshima and Momo jumped through it with the use of their quirks. They weren't very happy with their classmate at the moment but since this was a competition, everyone was an enemy.

"Nice trick Todoroki!" Momo yelled holding on to her hand as a pole came out moving her through the ice floor.

"I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY SO EASILY!" Bakugo called out angrily moving his hands behind him using his blast to fly through it all. "YOU ICYHOT BASTAAAAAAARD!"

Ojiro was feeling pretty smug right now. He use his tail to jump over the ice remembering his mistake in his battle training. "You froze me once before, it won't happen again!"

The others made it through to but were having trouble walking on ice trying not to fall.

Uraraka could have very well used her quirk but she decided to save it to show off later so she wouldn't have to deal with the after effects so early in the game.
