Danny's p.o.v:
Almost three months have passed by, now me and Nancy are celebrating New Year's Eve together with our bestfriends. We were counting down for the new year and me and her stared into each other's eyes. When I look into her eyes, I see a sparkle and I'm glad that I make her happy. Her eyes are so damn beautiful because they can tell a deep story.
Afterall what we went through, she opened up a little which made it also easier for me to talk about me. She told me about why she stayed with Jonny all this time, it was almost as if she had the Stockholm Syndrom. She daydreams a lot about the future as if she has a lot in mind. She cares about the people who she loves and will always be there for them. She's a tough young woman and I'm glad to call her mine.
I too told her how I got The Feral Soldier. My real mother who probably didn't expect a child left me in the trash can in the middle of the town. I still don't know who my parents are. But Dr. Frankie, alias Frankestein, he found me and used me as his experiment. He treated me like his own kid and calls me Lupus because wolves are his favourite animals. I never had a real name. I never went outside, he never let me explore the world. Afterall, I was his experiment that had to rule the world and not to be the hero that I am today.
Noah is my best friend, because he as an agent saved me. He was undercover and wanted to arrest Dr. Frankie. But he realized if he goes to prison, I would still stay behind the walls and never see what's going on outside. The three of us made a deal. Dr. Frankie could stay the creep he is, I got out and got a fake identity and Noah would give up the case. This is how we became best friends and I used my powers to save the world.
"Happy new year!", we all yelled and gave a toast, watching the fireworks explode in the sky in all variants of colours. I smiled as I watched Nancy being fascinated of the loud boom.
I was still aware that everything was okay with her. She had dark bags underneath her eyes, no wonder if she wakes up shrieking because of her nightmares. She seemed a little depressed and I could tell she was still keeping a secret from me. But I didn't mind, because I trust her and if she's ready she would definately tell me.
"What's wrong Loomer. Is the animal in you scared of the sound?", Nancy joked and got up to her tip toes to give me a kiss.
I laughed, I adored her humor. "I am just happy, to see you happy."
"I am happy because of you.", she chuckled and ran to the others. "Guys, I might have a little surprise for you. But please don't kill me. Either way your reaction will be anxious or excited.", she warned us.
She walked down the stairs from the porch and our six eyes followed her but we couldn't see her anywhere. My body send me chills over my spine after I heard the familiar threatening sound behind my back. It was a warning. Immediately I turned around to meet the smoke I feared of with Nancy in the middle of it. My fear disappeared as I recognized that it wasn't Black Poison.
"You... You still got her powers?", I stuttered as I backed up a little. She nodded. The three of us weren't so comfortable with the situation.
"Relax guys. She's not here anymore. It's me, the new me. And I want Black Poison to be a sidekick of The Feral Soldier."
