I examined the writing like it was some kinda ancient work of art. the letter made me confused. they said we have a "relationship", but then they said that they didn't want to see me. I wasn't surprised she wasn't down to see me, I am very embarrassed to know. I was excited that I was going to a party this weekend. Until I realized that I would know absolutely no one that would be there. Contemplating if I should flake or not, my thoughts got interrupted by the bell. I casually walk to math, when I see a really pretty girl walk past me. we make direct eye contact, and she smiles at me. a jaw-dropping, bright, beautiful smile. this makes me stop in my tracks; this wasn't because of the smile itself. it was because she smiled at me. it took me a second before I realized who it was. Brookden Chest smiled at me, but it wasn't just a friendly smile. it was more of a shy, flirty smile, my stomach clenches in embarrassment. I sit down and pull out my phone until class started. about fifteen minutes go by, when I see Brookden walk into our class with a peach backpack and a floral yellow dress. I didn't realize it before, but the way her bright red hair lay across her shoulders. the way her blue eyes matched her short simple yet beautifully painted nails. i spin so much time on drooling over her looks, I don't realize that my math teacher was calling out my name. when he taps me on my shoulder to get my attention, my cheeks turn red. "Ms. Izanhower", I look at him straight in the eyes. "Y-yes?" he waves his hand for Brookden to sit next to me, my face just gets hotter. my classroom is a rectangle, with six tables in two rowes. my table stands in the back, i usually sit by myself, but now i will have someone to be scared to talk to. i look at her as a friendly gesture, she smiles that smile again. "hey"
