" are you ready for carols today? Do you know what your doing with her? I know you haven't gone in a while, do you feel comfortable? Do you have everything? What abou-" my mother floods the small obnoxiously red Kia with questions. I was too tired to answer any of them, I just nodded in exhaustion. "Ok, we're here!" I jump at the sudden change of atmosphere. I nod and open the car door, " bye mom!" I yell with out looking back toward her. After five minutes of wandering around the glass walls of the tech center. I thought it would be best if I headed toward carols office. When I finally got there, I saw carol reading her phone and smoking a cigarette. " at least do that outside." I teased, she looked up to meet my eyes and smiled. " oh come in!" Carol was always happy, she was a middle aged bigger lady. I've had her as a therapist since I was eight, and ever since then I was always taller than her. Her short red hair was always styled into a "mom bob" as I like to call it. She almost looked like a cartoon aunt. I'm not sure how that looks, she just gives me that kind of vibe. "So how are you feeling! Have you written those letters?" That question filled me with excitement. I start filling her in on everything that has happened to me this month. "Wow," she mumbled obviously taken back at the whole story. " so you and this girl, have you met yet?" I pause, " I don't think so, we both said that we wanted to keep our identities a secret." Her smile grew wide, " so it's like a love story! Yay!" I chuckle, " yeah, I guess you could say that. My smile starts to droop, " but there's this other girl. And she's sweet, and funny, and smart, and-" my words melt away at the thought of Brookden. Carol smiles and with a single nod i know that this decision won't be easy.
