— Zabuza of The Seven Swordsman of the MistShirayuki watched Tazuna get interrogated by Kakashi for a few seconds before she went over to the enemy-nins' bodies. Leaning over them, she poked their cheeks before confirming that they were, indeed, unconscious. Well then, Shirayuki unbuttoned their shirt.
"Are you stripping them?" Sasuke asked.
Shriayuki hummed, "No, I'm looting their bodies." A bingo book exclusive for Kiri, three packs of Senbon, a bottle of poison, and an antidote. Convenient, Shirayuki thought. She stood up and turned to Naruto, "You got scratched, didn't you?"
Naruto nodded. She held the bottle up, "This should be the antidote for it. Sensei, am I right?"
Kakashi placed a hand on her head, he's been doing that a lot lately, before smiling. "Hm, yes. Take two drops and you should be fine."
Naruto nodded obediently, he was silent as he takes the antidote. Shirayuki noticed the lack of enthusiasm in anything he does, but she recognised his look. He's thinking, or rather he was dwelling on what the enemy nins had said. Shirayuki flipped open the bingo book, Kirigakure's version. First pages always for their own Nuke-nins then followed by ranks, in accordance with hostility.
Zabuza Momochi was circled. Curious, Shirayuki thought, was he their next target? There was a chance but it's low, their ranks differ too much. Plus, there was a civil war going on in Kiri right now. These two were probably going around taking jobs to fund the war. Oh, that was a good theory.
"Can I see the book, Shirayuki?" Kakashi asked. Shirayuki snapped the book shut and handed it over without questions asked.
Sasuke stepped up beside her and questioned softly, "What's the book?"
"Kiri's Bingo Book," Shirayuki offered. "Every major hidden village has its own exclusive one, and then there's a neutral version."
Sasuke nodded. Naruto frowned, "Kakashi-sensei."
Kakashi stiffens beside her but hummed in response. Naruto inhaled, "How did they know I was an Uzumaki?"
"Hm," Kakashi hummed but he didn't answer.
Naruto's expression twisted in rage, "Kakashi-sensei! They knew I was one when they saw me use chakra, they left their fight against Sasuke to go for me. Kakashi-sensei, how did they know I was an Uzumaki."
Kakashi sighed, "Uzushiogakure was destroyed by Kumo, Kiri, and Iwa."
Naruto tilted his head, "And?"
"Uzushiogakure was the homeland of the Uzumaki clan." When Kakashi finished, Shirayuki saw how Naruto's face morphed into one of horror. Sasuke stiffens, he had an understanding glint in his eyes followed by fury.
"It's— destroyed?" Naruto demanded, his voice jerking.
Kakashi nodded, "This is neither the time nor place to talk about it."
Before Naruto could speak, Shirayuki clamped a hand over his mouth. "Naruto, there could be people listening in right now. Do you want to paint a larger target on your back? Everything can be discussed back in the village, sensei won't be going anywhere."
Naruto flinched but nodded, "Right. Okay. Let's finish the mission, dattebayo!"
"About that," Kakashi raised his brows. "This mission is above your capabilities. I believe we should be going home."
"What?" Naruto shouted. "No! We're finishing this mission!"
"Is that so?" Kakashi hummed. "And what do you think, Shirayuki?"
