I woke up with a gasp , my stomach dropping as I sat up quickly in bed , nausea taking over me causing me to cradle my head in my hands , groaning softly . I look over at the alarm clock to see the time .

"Shit" I quickly got out of bed and made my way over to my dresser , well technically my aunts to find me a outfit to wear today . As I was searching a Knock on the room door appeared twice distracting me .
"Come in ! " In walked my aunt with a suit case in her hand and a cup of coffee in the other . She sat the coffee down on the night stand and threw the suit case on the bed , unzipping it .
"Hey baby I remember how u said u broke ur other suit case so I bought u a new one since ur leaving in like an hour " she said as she layed back on the guest bed taking my stash of chips out of the drawer and eating them .
"Thx auntie lanora I owe u " I say as I start putting clothes into the case .
"Nah it's no problem , thx for coming down and spending time with me , it's been lonley ever since u left " she pouted .
"No need to thank me , ur my aunt it's my job to spend time with u , even though ur boyfriend can be a dick" I roll my eyes .
" hey he's not that bad "
"Oh really ? He didn't even want me to see u let alone live with u these 2 months"

"He was gonna put me in a hotel down the street, I'm telling u he doesn't like me " I laugh half heartily .
"Look I'm sorry about him , but u know ur always welcomed back , fuck him oksy ? I love u . " she walks up to me and grabs my shoulders rubbing them softly looking me in the eye . My aunt is the only person who has ever gave a shit in this family , who has ever gave a shit about my well being , everyone else could care less . I could be hit by a car and no one would show , except her .
" I love u too . Hey u ever coming to see me in Chicago ? "
" no time soon but I'm planning on it , just gotta get my money right first and then I can come down and meet this Carl boy you've been telling me so much about " I bush at the mention of his name . Other then my aunt he was the only other person to care for me , my best friend . My bestfriend that maybe I'm starting to catch a little feelings for .
"Hehe I um- stop ur distracting me I gotta get packing " I move from her grip and start packing only causing her to laugh out loud .
"Fuck u " I say shooting a bird at her only for her to shoot one back as she exits the room , making me smile . As I'm near done packing I look at the room one more time , taking a seat on the bed as I look at the picture of me and -
"TIME TO GO ! GOTTA MAKE IT TO THE AIRPORT IN TIME !" I snap out of my daze and wipe the tears I didn't even notice were falling and quickly zipped up my bag and made my way out of the room , down the stairs and out the door seeing my aunt already in the car . I look back at the house one last time before making my way to the car strapping myself in . My aunt looked at me one last time with a warm smile.
"U ready ? "
I looked her in the eyes , both of us getting emotional .
"Yea.... lets do this . "
