Chapter 2

"Hey." I say walking over. "Hello." He whispers. "You okay?" I ask. "Yeah." He mumbles. "Butterflies?" I ask. He nods and looks up. I smile. "I'm Tauriel." I say. He smiles back. "That's a beautiful name. I'm Kili." He says. "I like that name. When do you have lunch?" I ask. "Sixth period." He replies. "Same. Sit by me at lunch." I say and walk away. I sit down at my seat and take a deep breath. "That hard?" Legolas says. "No. Just nerve racking." I say. "Okay class settle down. My name is Mr.Thomas." The teacher says.
Through the whole class I didn't listen I was too busy thinking. Thinking about what I will do this year. Join the archery team again and be in the champion ship? Or try some other sport? My mind is still racing from this morning, I need to calm down.
After classes that took forever lunch finally came. I got a sandwich and fruit for my lunch. "Hey." I say to Kili. He sits right next to me and puts his tray down. "How was your other classes?" I ask. "Fine." He says looking down. "Still have butterflies?" I tease. He laughs. "No, I just hate being the new guy." Kili answers. "I don't mind it." I say before I get cut off my Arwen. "Hey Tauriel, want to come sit with us?" She ask. "No thanks Arwen." I say. She nods and heads to our table. "So where did you move from?" I ask. "It doesn't matter where I moved from." He says. "What's wrong?" I try to say. "Look don't try to befriend me! I don't want any friends! Just leave me alone!" He yells. A frown comes upon my face. I grab my tray and go to Arwen's table. "What's wrong?" Arwen says looking over at Kili. "Nothing." I say looking down. "You shouldn't hang around him." Eowyn says. "He's the same guy you suggested Eowyn." I say. She sits quiet and I try to eat the rest of my food.

The bus ride was quiet, Legolas was flirting of course. Sometimes I really hate that he can get so much attention. "Hey!" Legolas said once we got home. "How was first day?" Asked Thranduil. "Great." Legolas said. "Tauriel?" Thranduil asked. I went upstairs ignoring him and slammed my door. 'You're too kind Tauriel.' My conscious tells me. I push back the thought and try to fall asleep until Thranduil knocks on my door. "Tauriel?" He ask. "What?" I try to say. He comes in and sits on my bed. "Legolas told me what happened." He says. "Yeah I don't care about it." I say. "Well he is downstairs." He says. My eyes go wide. "What!" I yell. He is telling the truth and my mouth drops open. I look out my window to see he is down there. I run downstairs and almost trip on the way.
"Hey." I say. "Hey I wanted to apologize." Kili says. "It's fine." I say. "Maybe we could hang out?" He ask with his cute smile. "Sure, this weekend." I say. "Where?" He ask. "Somewhere!" I yell as I walk back.
