Your POV

It was a cold and gloomy winter afternoon. Not to mention was it really windy, that only adds onto how freezing it already is. The door to my mom's car made a loud sound as it was slammed closed. I wrapped my hands on my arms, rubbing them to stay warm. I quickly rushed across the parking lot, once I reached the building, the automatic doors opened and I went inside.

"Hello! Please come ask me if you need help finding anything." A man, maybe in his 20's greeted me with a smile.

"Alright, thank you." I returned the respectful smile and gave him a nod. I scanned the walls of the music store, it was covered with guitars, records, guitar picks. This store is quite nice looking. I hummed silently to myself as I walked over to the 'alternative' section of the CDs. I started going through the CDs, searching for something I liked. Some movement can be seen in my prefual vision, I turn my head slightly to see a boy, maybe about my age, his long black hair covering his face as he digs through the alternative section as well as me. I turn back to what I was looking for, to be honest, I'm not quite sure what I was looking for. Maybe a Fall Out Boy CD?

(Panic!, FOB, and TØP are a thing during this story, MCR is, but you'll see.)

"What're you looking for?" The black haired boy asks, holding his head up to look at me. My head twists to look at him.

"Oh, just a Fall Out Boy CD or something. I'd like to have one." I shrug. "Big fan. Uhm, you?" I smile nervously.

"I was actually looking for a Fall Out Boy CD as well." He laughs. I get distracted and look over the details on his face. He had stunning hazel eyes, like pools of color you can get lost in forever. "Hello?" He raises and eyebrow, snapping a finger in front of my face.

"Sorry - got sidetracked. That's cool! Not quite sure where they are though." I bite the inside of my cheek, thinking. The boy seemed to notice cause he gives me a tap on the shoulder. A small 'huh?' escapes my lips.

"I don't suggest biting the inside of your mouth, injury to the mouth tissue." He recommends and I quickly thank him.

"Uhm, do you mind telling me your name so this isn't awkward?" I smile, nervously once again. His mouth forms into a small 'O' and nods.

"Gerard. Gerard Way." He holds out his hand.

"Y/n L/n." I nod as I shake his hand. "Anyways, FOB CDs.." I go back to digging through the large amount of records.

"Here, I can go ask somebody for help?" He suggests. I rapidly nod.

"That'd be helpful, thanks." I send him a grateful smile. Gerard walks over to the man at the door. He starts talking to the man and he gives G a smile and a nod. They start heading over to me and the man walks to the very end of the aisle.

The man starts digging through a box. He pulls out 2 FOB CDs"Sorry, you two, we're still organizing the shelves and boxes." He hands the both of us one CD. "There's more Fall Out Boy CDs in there if you still want to look." He nods before slowly walking off. I practically throw myself at the box. I start digging through it and find a 'Take This To Your Grave' CD. The man gave me a FUTCT . They're both phenomenal albums.

I was dragged out of my thoughts by a sudden voice I immediately recognized as Gerard's. "Having those struggles where you really want something but don't know if you want to get it?" He smirks, probably understanding my pain.

I nod with a frown. "They're both so good!" I groan, burying my face in my hands. Gerard laughs as he shakes his head.

He gives my back a small pat. "Get both and I'll pay for you if you'd like?" He offers. I shake my hands frantically and shake my head as if I'm saying 'no no no no' but without actually using words. He raises his eyebrow and crosses his arms, tilting his head slightly. "C'mon, my treat. I just met you so let me be nice?" What he said came out more like a question.
