Tae couldn't help being super clingy while Jungkook was there. After making out for a bit longer they got out of bed, washed and changed, both safe in the knowledge that they had the rest of the day and night together. As they walked from the bedroom to the kitchen, Tae held on to the hem of Jungkook's t-shirt... 'the' t-shirt... the one that hadn't been washed or had left Tae's possession in a 6 whole years. Tae had wanted to wash it so Jungkook could wear it fresh but he had insisted he wanted to wear it there and then, even if it was a little on the snug side now. The Jungkook that wore it all those years ago liked oversized clothes and he was now pleased that his former self had indeed worn clothes that way. The t-shirt now hugged his figure a little but it fit and it was an amazing feeling for both of them.

"I have something of yours too" Jungkook admitted as Tae finally let go so he could make food and drinks.

"What is it? That camo hoodie?"

"Yeah. How did you know?"

"I could never find it and remembered I left it at yours. I loved that hoodie and hoped you'd taken it but I didn't know. That was... that was... the first time... I... ugh! It doesn't matter."

"Tae, please tell me."

"It still hurts, Kookie and I don't want us to hurt anymore."

"I know but I think we need to tell each other everything, even the bad stuff. We weren't responsible for what happened so I think it's really important that we share how we felt."

"You're right, I know but... it hurts so much... *sigh*... that day that I couldn't find my hoodie was the first day... that... I took my phone out of my pocket to ask you if you had it. I sent the text knowing you wouldn't get it once I'd realised and it hurt... it was like reality hit."

"Well, I had it. I didn't unpack for weeks because it would mean that I would have to accept that the situation was real but my parents kept nagging so I gave in. When I was taking everything out of my case I saw the sleeve and then it dawned on me that Eomma must have thought it was mine so packed it. Oh my God, Tae, I cried so much and hid it under my pillow. I've still got it hidden amongst my things, I didn't wash that, either, it was the only thing I had of us"

"I'm so pleased you have it and that you kept it safe. That t-shirt kept me company through some very long nights."

Jungkook frowned "long? You weren't sleeping?"

"No. I had to see a therapist and doctors who said I had insomnia. Needed sleep training and stuff."

"Oh. Why didn't you sleep? Sleeping I could do, just about, but that was the only place I could be with you, in my dreams."

"Every time I closed my eyes I was back in the airport so I was scared to sleep. I spent a lot of nights at the beach in our place, holding that shirt. I felt so lost."

Jungkook pressed his chest to Tae's back and put his chin on his shoulder "We won't ever let anything like that happen again."

Tae tilted his head to rest against Jungkook's as he stirred the ramen "never again. I honestly don't think I could survive losing you again."

"Me either. You know we need to make a plan with what to tell people and stuff... just until we are in a position to be together? My parents are over in a few months for xmas because the church invited them or something. I want to tell them then, face to face but I need to deal with Keyho first."

"Kai is away for another couple of weeks. I'm meant to be joining him in Canada but obviously that's changed. He doesn't know yet though so I need to tell him... Bogum knows everything and will help... the others don't know that I've seen you so I will need to fill them in and..." Tae froze as there was a knock at the door.
