This is unedited. Setting is a high school in California. Hope y'all enjoy.

Jesy's POV:

"Here comes your girlfriend, Jes." Jade smirks.

I don't even have to look behind me to know she's talking about Daphne Moretti, the captain of the volleyball team, captain of the cheer squad, co-captain of the dance team, and the girl I've had a crush on since seventh grade. Looking over my shoulder I see Daphne talking to a group of students. Since it is game day she's dressed in short, tight black shorts that hug her ass and a tight, white tank top that shows off her ample cleavage. Facing Jade, Leigh, and Pez again I see they're all smirking.

"She's not my girlfriend." I mumble, leaning against the lockers.

"Then why does she always have her hand on your thigh in class?" Perrie questions with her head cocked to the side.

I purse my lips, not at all surprised that they pay more attention to what Daphne and I are doing than the actual lesson.

"That and Daphne watching Jes instead of paying attention to the lesson." Leigh states.

"Like the three of you have any room to talk because clearly you're not paying attention to the lesson either. Maybe the three of you should focus more on math and less on Daph and I." I remark sweetly.

"We'll focus more on math when you stop staring at her ass when you think nobody is looking."

"Speak for yourself." Perrie looks at Leigh-Anne and Jade and I chuckle.

"Morning ladies." Daphne says, her hand gliding across my back as she passes me to get to her locker which is next to mine.

Thank God for crop tops! Every time she touches me I get goosebumps.

"Good morning, Daphne." Leigh, Jade, and Pez reply in unison.

I'm too busy watching Daphne open her locker, pull out her orange jersey, and slip it on to say anything.

"So Daph, is Jesy you girlfriend?" I hear Jade ask, my eyes still on Daphne.

"Not yet." She answers sending me a wink.

I duck my head with a grin feeling the blush on my cheeks.

"You still spending the night, Jesy?"

Daphne smiles when I nod eagerly. Like I would pass up the opportunity to spend the night with Daph.

"Hey Daphne!"

And just like that my good mood disappears and Daph tenses up at Kira's shrill voice.

Not turning around or taking her eyes off me Daphne says, "Hey Kira."

I have to bite my lip to keep from laughing at her eye roll. Kira stay trying to get in Daphne's pants. She takes her backpack out of her locker, slinging it over her shoulder, and turning around after shutting her locker. Then she tugs my backpack off my shoulder and holds it with her left hand, her right arm slips around my waist and pulls me closer to her body.

"You look good in orange but you'd look even better out of it." The girl to the left of Kira purrs which earns her an elbow to the side from said girl.

Leigh, Perrie, and Jade are laughing hysterically and I just roll my eyes at all of them while I gently rub Daphne's lower back.

"We were wondering why you didn't change your jersey number like the rest of the team?" Asks the chick to the right of Kira. "Not that there's anything wrong with the number fourteen cause it's a really great number and we really like it."

Daphne has had the same jersey number since she started playing volleyball in seventh grade.

"I didn't want to change it because fourteen is a very important and special number to me."

Looking at Daph I find her looking back at me with a wide smile and a sparkle in her eyes.

"The real reason we came over here is to invite you to my house for a party tonight." Kira says, batting her eyelashes.

"Sorry Kira, I've already got very important plans tonight after the game."

"But this party is gonna be epic! What could you be doing that would be more fun than coming to my party?" Kira huffs.

"Anything is more fun than one of your parties." Jade laughs.

"To answer your question, I'm having a sleepover."

"Can we come?"

"Who all is gonna be there?"

"Just one person is coming."

"That sounds like the lamest sleepover ever!" Kira laughs.

"Maybe to you, but to me it sounds perfect. Now if you'll excuse us, we have to get to class."

Daphne grabs my hand and pulls me along to class with Leigh-Anne, Jade, and Pez following behind. She pulls my chair out for me then sits down in her seat beside me. The teacher launches into a lecture about graphs or some shit, I'm more focused on Daphne's hand on my thigh.

"Can I ask you something?" She whispers in my ear.

Turning my head enough to look at her but not make it obvious, I say, "Of course."

"Well, I want to kiss my girlfriend tonight before the game..."

Damn! I didn't know she was dating anybody.

"So, Jessica Louise Nelson, will you be my girlfriend?" She asks with a shy smile.

"Yes!" I whisper excitedly and kiss her. I pull back too soon for my liking but I don't want us to get in trouble. Daphne doesn't look happy that I broke the kiss so I lean over to whisper in her ear.

"Don't be sad, baby. Remember we're having a sleepover tonight just the two of us." I place a quick kiss to her neck, smirking when she squeezes my thight and lets out a soft moan. My smirk remains as I face the front of the room but watch Daphne shift in her chair from the corner of my eye.

All mistakes are mine. Vote, comment, and tell a friend! Honestly not some of my best work so I may rewrite it later but for now here it is. I hope y'all enjoyed it anyway. If you have a better title for this one then drop it in the comments. And I'm using names from my other stories, yes I'm that lazy.
Until next time.
Much love!!
